Michigan basketball had lost five straight and 10 of its last 11 games coming in, but it came away with the upset win over No. 11 Wisconsin, 72-68. Former Michigan women’s golfer Ashley Lau won her first professional title at the 2024 Vic Open on the WPGA Tour. She finished with a final score of 12-under 277.
With a lot of turnover on the Michigan staff, players may have questions about the future. “The grass is not always greener, when you look in the portal and you want to look somewhere else,” Campbell said. “And maybe you want to look for something specific — I don’t know. I don’t know what their case may be [since] they’re case-by-case situations, but it doesn’t mean that another place may offer you a better opportunity.
“We play at the University of Michigan, the all-time winningest program in college football history, the defending national champs. We got a loaded roster coming back with tons of talent all over the board. There’s no better place to be than here right now.
