Michigan DT Mason Graham declares for NFL Draft
Michigan Wolverines football junior defensive tackle Mason Graham has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The third-year lineman heads in as an underclassman and will be represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha.
Graham is considered a potential top-five prospect and could be a candidate for the No. 1 overall selection.
“We expect Mason to get drafted in the top five picks,” Rosenhaus said, via Schefter.
Graham has appeared in 39 games at Michigan with 27 starts at defensive tackle, earning a starting role in base packages his freshman season in 2022 while emerging as a stalwart up front for the Wolverines. He was an All-American last year and is a two-time All-Big Ten selection, earning first-team honors this year from both the coaches and media.
Graham finishes his Michigan career with 108 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, 3 passes defended, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Graham’s play earned him Tournament of Roses 2023 Rose Bowl Game Defensive MVP honors for his work in the team’s 27-20 overtime win over Alabama, which sent the Wolverines to the national title game.
Coming out of high school in Anaheim, California, Graham was a four-star recruit and the No. 298 player in the nation, 36th-ranked defensive lineman and No. 22 player in California.

Mason Graham has the potential to be one of the best defensive tackle prospects to come out of college in the last few years. His lack of elite size and length will keep him from being in the same category as Jalen Carter, but the Michigan product’s combination of strength and athleticism gives him a high ceiling as a pro.
Graham is quick off the ball to put pressure on offensive linemen immediately and has the agility to throw off linemen’s angles when slanting. He’s very effective when slanting to get penetration in the backfield, and he has the strength and physicality at the point of attack to control blocks when taking them on straight up.
