Michigan football 2023 signees post graphics featuring Jordan Brand, their high schools
Michigan Wolverines football is wrapping up National Signing Day. There’s chaos across the country, with recruits flipping their commitments, but the Wolverines were able to maintain all 21 pledges they held coming into the day, and even add one in Phenix City (Ala.) Central four-star wide receiver Karmello English, who chose the Maize and Blue over Kentucky and others.
Michigan has the potential to add another recruit in Kankakee (Ill.) four-star cornerback Jyaire Hill, who will make his announcement at 4 p.m. Tune in to our YouTube channel, with our Zach Libby on location and set to stream the ceremony. Ranked the No. 112 overall recruit in the country per On3, Hill would be the highest-rated Michigan commit in the class if he joined the fold.

Michigan signees have been posting graphics on social media after signing throughout the day. Here’s a sampling of the posts, which feature a photo of the signee, Jordan Brand shoes that highlight both their high school and Michigan:
Michigan is showing respect to the high schools that produced the talented players its bringing in. After all, head coach Jim Harbaugh looks deep into each prospect’s high school career to determine if they’re a good fit for the Wolverines.
“The person that usually I talked to is their coach,” Harbaugh said recently. “And I always have — that’s always been the best indicator to me, is talk to your coach, and tell me about this guy. They’ll tell you.
“Not always in the words, exactly. But I mean, it could be like, roll up in their chair and be, ‘It’s the best guy I’ve ever coached in a generation, the kind of guy I’d want to marry my daughter.’ Yeah, you can tell.

“Or they kind of lean back in their chair and go, ‘Well, I think he’d be good in your program, once he gets around your guys and your strength staff.’
“He’s telling you without telling you, you know, if you’re listening. So the thing I have paid the most attention to and will continue to.”
