Big Ten Football Media Days kick off this week in Indianapolis, putting us one step closer to Michigan kicking off the season vs. Colorado State. The Wolverines will put a pin in their summer trip through their home state to make an appearance at the event Tuesday.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh will be joined by four senior players: quarterback Cade McNamara, tight end Erick All, defensive tackle Mazi Smith and cornerback DJ Turner. They will speak to the media individually at podiums in the afternoon. Harbaugh will take the main stage at 12:30 p.m. ET before an informal media session later in the day.

Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren will kick off the event 10:15 a.m. with an opening statement and Q&A session. Warren’s press conference and the coach sessions that follow will be broadcast live via Big Ten Network.

Here is the schedule of coaches set for Tuesday:

Michigan quote of the day

“First and foremost, on the offensive side of the football, they’re going to have to open it up. They’re still going to probably have two running backs sharing the load in Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards, who, some people think could be the best running back in the country this coming year. I won’t touch that, but bottom line: You have two good backs. Now, are they Hassan Haskins kind of short-yardage backs? Probably not. But they both need to touch the football.”
