The Wolverines were split between the Blue Team, coached by offensive line coach/co-offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore, and the Maize Team coached by defensive backs coach/co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale. The game was played in 12-minute quarters with two minutes between each and a 12-minute halftime.
Michigan’s starting quarterback, Cade McNamara, played just four drives, and they all ended in punts. To be fair, he played on both teams and didn’t get to develop a ton of rhythm. The shining star at quarterback was actually Davis Warren, a walk-on who impressed on scout team last year and finally got to get some recognition Saturday. He completed 12 of his 23 passes for 175 yards.
