Newsstand: Erick All confirms return to Michigan football for 2022
It never seemed to be that much in doubt, but Michigan football will be getting one of its major pieces back next season. Third-year tight end Erick All posted a message to his Instagram page on Saturday confirming he will return in 2022.
“Love this team so much,” All said on Saturday following Michigan’s 34-11 loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl. “Can’t wait to get back on the field with you guys.”

All was Michigan’s leading receiver in the College Football Playoff defeat with four catches for 63 yards. He finished the year with 42 catches for 500 yards and two touchdowns.
All is projected to be one of the offense’s top playmakers in 2022. Barring any unforeseen attrition at the skill positions with key contributors, Michigan projects to bring back almost its entire wide receiver and tight end rooms.

Michigan football quote of the day
“I think we’ve got a lot of guys on this team coming back who really — that they listened to us leaders this year. They learned from us. They were with us through the thick and the thin. I know Michigan football will be in good hands next year with one of those guys. They’re going to step up. I already started talking to a couple of them that I know are going to be leaders next year. Michigan football will be in good hands, and they’ve learned this whole season what leadership is and how it’s supposed to be.”
