LB Michael Barrett
The Michigan linebacker didn’t participate in any testing or drills.
Key quote: Barrett — “Mental toughness, I feel like I showed a lot to myself throughout my career at Michigan, just showed how versatile I am, how I can pretty much overcome anything; with God in my corner, I feel like I can get through anything that’s thrown at me.”
Player | Height | Weight | Arm Length | Hand Size |
Michael Barrett | 5’ 11’’ | 233 lbs | 32 1/8’’ | 8 1/2’’ |
LB Junior Colson
Colson sat out the workouts due to a hamstring injury, according to NFL Network.
Key quote: NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah — “You talk about a big linebacker, who played last year with the broken hand — shows you the toughness. You couldn’t keep him off the field. The comparison when I watched him was [former Michigan linebacker] David Harris. Leadership, toughness, excellent, excellent player with the Jets. To me, this is a top-50 pick every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I think whoever gets him is going to get somebody they can plug into the middle of their defense and let him roll.”
Player | Height | Weight | Arm Length | Hand Size |
Junior Colson | 6’ 2’’ | 238 lbs | 32 1/2’’ | 9 3/8’’ |

Key quote: McGregor — “I’m a really selfless guy. I don’t really need to be in the spotlight or anything. At Michigan, we had so many guys that were so good that it doesn’t really matter for me if I’m the spotlight or if I’m the guy over in the corner not getting any interviews. At the end of the day, I just want [NFL teams] to know that I’m coming here to play ball; I’m not coming here to be a social media influencer or anything like that, so that’s just something big.”

Michigan checked all the boxes. My personality — I’m a blue-collar, disciplined kid. I fit right in with the winged helmet. The style of offense that we played and the program that Michigan runs I feel is as similar as it’s gonna get [to the NFL].”

Zinter is still recovering from his broken fibula and tibia suffered Nov. 25 against Ohio State. He plans to bench press and “move around” at Michigan’s March 22 pro day but didn’t participate in testing or drills at the combine. He said he should be fully healthy in a month and a half.
Key quote: Zinter — “I’ve had a hell of a career. I was having a hell of a last season. I ended up getting hurt toward the end of last season, and I think that put a lot of doubt in some media’s head, but I think there were a lot of misconceptions of what happened, if it was an ACL or ankle or whatnot. But it was just bone. They put a rod in there, and I’m just letting it heal up. It’s going to be stronger than it was before, so that’s not a huge concern for me. I feel like my game speaks for itself.”
