Here's who Michigan football will honor on senior day against Illinois
Michigan Wolverines football is set for its eighth and final home game of the 2022 season (against Illinois at noon ET on ABC). Naturally, it will be the final time suiting up at The Big House for a number of Wolverines, making it a special and emotional afternoon.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh and Co. will recognize the efforts of its fourth-, fifth- and sixth-year players with a pregame ceremony including their families.
Some Wolverines that will take part in the festivities still have eligibility remaining. In fact, the overwhelming majority is in that group due to the NCAA deeming the 2020 campaign a free year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Below is a list of the players Michigan will honor. The amount of years of eligibility each scholarship Wolverine has remaining after this season is in parentheses (if they have any).

Wolverine juniors could be playing last game at The Big House
All of Michigan’s third-year players are NFL Draft eligible, too, and it’s likely we see at least one depart the program after this season. Junior running back Blake Corum, a Heisman contender who’s racked up 1,349 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns this season, is the top candidate. Others, such as right guard Zak Zinter, would likely be picked if they entered the draft.
Decisions aren’t expected to come until after the Wolverines’ season, which could end as late as Jan. 9 in the national championship game.
