Michigan football holds steady in latest AP Poll
The Michigan Wolverines are 7-0 after a massive blowout win over the Indiana Hoosiers in Ann Arbor and are staying at No. 2 in this week’s AP poll. Georgia remains at No. 1 after a 37-20 win over Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon.
Washington is on the rise after a showdown win over the Oregon Ducks, now coming in at No. 2 nationally. The top five are comprised of Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State and Washington. Additionally, USC is out of the top ten after a blowout loss at Notre Dame.
Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa are the only teams ranked out of the Big Ten Conference, which is no surprise at this point considering the conference has made a habit of cannibalizing itself throughout the year. Iowa continues to survive despite a bad offense and a season-ending injury to Cade McNamara.

Harbaugh weighs in on IU win
“There was a real calm, a real understanding that okay, when we get punched in the mouth, we’re going to respond. That’s what’s going to happen. Everybody has that kind of faith in the leadership of our team, the character of our team. There’s a devotion to the fundamentals of Michigan football. Just go to work of responding. That’s the best strategy you can do. That’s what we lean back on.”
