Michigan cornerback Amorion Walker entered the NCAA transfer portal last week, visited Ole Miss in recent days and has decided to join the Rebels ahead of next season.
Upon entering the transfer portal, Michigan cornerback Amorion Walker quickly got in touch with the Ole Miss staff. And after a weekend trip to Oxford, Miss., the Ponchatoula, La., prospect announced his commitment to the Rebels.
His primary recruiter out of high school was Pete Golding when he was the defensive coordinator at Alabama. Now the two are reunited.
Walker played in six games this season at Michigan as a reserve at cornerback after entering the program as a freshman at wide receiver. He had one career catch for four yards in 2022 and had three sacks and a pass defended this year.
He was a three-star prospect and the No. 470 player in the country out of Louisiana in the 2022 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking. It also ranked him as the No. 76 wide receiver in the class and the 22nd-ranked player out of the Pelican State.
