Harbaugh weighs in on McNamara boos

Despite the battle coming to an end, there are still some ruffled feathers over the treatment of senior captain Cade McNamara.

“I do — the coaches do — they embrace the fact that we have two really good quarterbacks,” head coach Jim Harbaugh said on Monday. “You love for your fanbase to be able to do that. I don’t expect you to do that, but if you do or you don’t, it’s irrelevant.

“The main thing — it’s a big edge for our team to have two really good quarterbacks. We, as a team, embrace that. Outside of that, it’s irrelevant.”

Up next for Michigan

Michigan stays home next week for a date with the UConn Huskies, who lost 48-14 to Syracuse in Week 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET with the broadcast set for ABC.
