The Michigan Wolverines have put their stamp on the Ohio State rivalry by winning their third-straight in the series and now have bigger fish to fry as they chase championships.

The Wolverine’s Anthony Broome and Clayton Sayfie discussed their final takeaways from the victory during the Monday night live show.

“It means another 365 days that Michigan fans can be on top and Michigan players and coaches of this rivalry, they can bask in it,” Sayfie said. “I’m not ready to move on from how special Saturday was and what a special game it was and an incredible performance.

“Ryan Day falls to 1-3 despite whoever was trying to get Jim Harbaugh off the sidelines succeeded in that. But in the long haul, it may have made Ryan Day look worse because he lost to Sherrone Moore on Saturday. That’s something he’s going to have to live with. I don’t think he’s getting fired, nor do I think he should. I think he’s going to be there, but he’s going to have to live with that noise for the next 365 days. Obviously, it feels great for Michigan.

“Michigan kind of had this mental edge in this belief that they were going to get it done. And not only do you believe you can get it done, but you know how to do it. You have players that know how to do it. And then the young guys are kind of watching the guys that are playing.

“And then when it’s their turn, they know what to do. [For Michigan], if you buy in, we have proof, tangible proof that it leads to these results. Jim Harbaugh was trying to do that, do that at the beginning of his tenure fizzled a little bit there because probably they didn’t have the results to sell to that kind of middle Harbaugh tenure teams, and then now they do.”
