The TAKEOFF TOUR, powered by TUFF, will soon give youth football players a chance to interact with a number of Michigan standouts. Cade McNamara, Ronnie Bell, RJ Moten, Jaylen Harrell, Joel Honigford, Caden Kolesar, Reheem Anders and more are set to be in attendance for the summer football camp series in Ann Arbor.

TUFF, or The Uniform Funding Foundation, is a nonprofit that supports underserved youth through uniforms, equipment and mentorship.

The organization says a majority of the revenue from this tour will go directly towards its mission.

On June 5, camps will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (4th-8th grade) and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (9th-12th grade) at Father Gabriel Richard High School. Future stops on the tour include South Bend, Cleveland, and Mullins, S.C.

What to Expect

Free admission (plus a t-shirt, photo ops and the chance to win awards/prizes)

Via TAKEOFF TOUR: Ann Arbor – “On top of the extremely valuable knowledge that campers will gain, our exciting environment will create an experience that they will remember for a lifetime. All camp attendees will have access to water and Gatorade throughout the event and pizza will be available for everyone on the way out.”

More on TUFF’s mission

Former Michigan linebacker Adam Shibley created TUFF in 2018 to ensure equipment costs and registration fees don’t prevent young students from being able to participate in sports. CFO Jess Speight and COO Jake Thaw also serve as familiar faces with both having been a part of Michigan’s 2021 Big Ten Championship team.

TUFF has positively impacted over 4,100 students and raised a total of $384,220 to date.

TUFF: “Uniforms hold an innate power that can truly strengthen a team’s unity and confidence. We want our donation recipients to know they are the best dressed on the field.”
