Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore is still looking for answers offensively following a 20-15 loss at Indiana. The offensive line struggled mightily once again — Pro Football Focus reported quarterback Davis Warren was under pressure on an incredible 61.8 percent of his passes — and the Wolverines couldn’t run the ball effectively with any of their backs.

Moore was at a loss for answers following his team’s fifth loss of the year.
“It starts up front,” the Michigan coach said of the issues. “They’ve got a big front. They’ve got guys that can hold the point really well, and they move. It wasn’t as much the pressures; it was the movement of the fronts that they did a really good job in.
“I thought we were getting a rhythm in the throw game, but we had to get one in the run game and never did. That ended up being the story of the game.”
Michigan finished with only 206 yards of total offense and one touchdown, settling for field goals twice. Once came after the Wolverines had first and goal inside the 7-yard line after an interception. Three running plays later, they kicked the field goal.

“At the end of the day, we’ve got to go execute,” Moore said. “We didn’t execute at a high level. There were some twists, some movements, some zone runs we didn’t pick up. It was one guy here, one guy there, but that was the story. When you look back at the iPad and those things, that’s what it was.
“We’re just going to keep working on it. We’ll watch the film and continue to evaluate. I’m just proud of the way our guys fought. In a game like that, you can easily lay down. Our guys went to the last second to go fight. I’m proud of the team and proud of what they did.”
