Pregame updates: Michigan football vs. Nebraska

• 3:32 p.m. — Both teams have taken the field, and we’re moments away from kickoff.

• 3:20 p.m. — The Michigan Marching Band has taken the field.

• 3:10 p.m. — Both teams have reentered their respective locker rooms for the final time before kickoff, which is slated for 3:36.

• 3:04 p.m — Sophomore Giovanni El-Hadi is taking first-team reps at left guard, while senior Karsen Barnhart is in the first group at right tackle. Senior Trente Jones dressed, but it’s unclear if he will play. There’s also a possibility that Barnhart has passed him up on the depth chart at right tackle.

• So far in terms of who’s warming up:

IN: LT Ryan Hayes, WR Roman Wilson, OL Trente Jones, S Makari Paige, EDGE Jaylen Harrell

OUT: TE Luke Schoonmaker, LG Trevor Keegan

• 2:45 p.m. — Michigan junior safety Makari Paige is warming up. He was out last week with an undisclosed injury.

• 1:59 p.m. — Graduate tight end Luke Schoonmaker does not appear to be warming up with his position group. He suffered an upper body injury after taking a big hit against Rutgers. Senior right tackle Trente Jones hasn’t played since Oct. 8 at Indiana, but he is going through early warmups.

• 1:50 p.m. — Michigan junior wideout Roman Wilson is warming up with the special teams. He did not make the trip to Rutgers last weekend.

Series Facts: This will be the 12th meeting between Michigan and Nebraska. U-M leads the all-time series 6-4-1 and has a 4-2 mark in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines hold a 3-2 advantage since Nebraska joined the Big Ten Conference. U-M has won the last two matchups between the teams, 56-10 at home in 2018 and 32-29 in Lincoln, Neb., last season.

Betting line

Michigan is a 30.5-point favorite over Nebraska, with the over/under set at 49 points.

Michigan is 5-4 against the spread so far this season, while Nebraska is 3-6. The total has gone over in two of the last three U-M games, but under in six of nine contests this season, with one push. The total has gone under in six of the Cornhuskers’ nine outings.
