Each player's results from Michigan Football's Pro Day
Michigan football held its pro day in Ann Arbor in front of all 32 NFL teams on Friday morning. The event was headlined by pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson, but plenty of other players were on display.
Of course, the story of the day was edge defender David Ojabo’s left leg injury. Not much is known about the severity, but he did leave Schembechler Hall on crutches and in a walking boot. He suffered his injury while going through pass rush drills during the event.
A total of 11 Wolverines were involved in the event on Friday. Here is a player-by-player recap of what every player was up to during the pro day.
EDGE defender Aidan Hutchinson
Hutchinson went through positional drills and the bench press on Friday, posting 28 reps of 225 pounds. He did not participate in any of the other athletic tests and is letting the combine performance speak for itself. Michigan’s pass rush dynamo told the media after his workouts that the pre-draft process is mostly complete for him. He will take visits to teams picking in the top five – Jacksonville, Detroit, Houston and the New York Giants and Jets – before the draft on April 28-30.
Offensive lineman Andrew Stueber
Stueber opted out of most athletic tests, instead focusing on the bench press. He posted 18 reps of 225 pounds and measured in at 6-foot-6, 323 pounds. Most draft analysts have Stueber as a mid-round prospect with the expectation that he plays guard in the NFL. He hopes to prove his versatility and ability to play right tackle during the pre-draft process.
Defensive back Brad Hawkins
Hawkins participated in the East-West Shrine Game earlier this winter but did not receive an NFL Combine invite. Michigan’s pro day served as his shot to go through testing in front of the NFL world. Hawkins hoped to run somewhere in the low 4.5s/high 4.4s for his 40-yard dash time and clocked in at 4.57. He did his three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds and his shuttle drill in 4.34 seconds. Hawkins had 20 reps on the bench press and recorded a 37-inch vertical and 10’1″ broad jump.
Defensive tackle Chris Hinton
Hinton posted 25 reps on the bench press and recorded a 7.90 3-cone drill time. He did the shuttle drill in 4.85 seconds and weighed in at 304 pounds at 6-foot-3.5. Hinton did not participate in the cone or shuttle drills at the combine, so this filled out the rest of the athletic picture for him. Analysts project him as a late-round prospect or undrafted free agent.
Defensive back Daxton Hill
Hill went through positional drills, but only participated in the vertical jump (37 inches) and broad jump (10’2″) events. The vertical jump was a step up from his NFL Combine performance, where he previously lept 33.5 inches. Hill is a potential first-round prospect and is in contention to be one of the first safeties off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Wide receiver Daylen Baldwin
Baldwin declared for the draft after his lone season at Michigan, but was not invited to the combine or any all-star events. This placed a huge emphasis on his pro day showing. He measured in just below 6-foot-2 and weighed in at 218 pounds. Balwin’s 40-yard dash time was 4.65 seconds with a 3-cone time of 7.23 and shuttle drill of 4.39. He posted 16 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press and his verticasl jump measured in at 34.5 inches. Baldwin’s broad jump measured 10 feet.
Defensive tackle Donovan Jeter
One of the more interesting names on the pro day roster was defensive tackle Donovan Jeter, who has been weighing a return for a sixth season at Michigan. Technically, there is nothing procluding him from participating if he has not hired an agent. His situation is unique, which opened the door for him to take place in Friday’s event.
Defensive tackle Elijah Pierre
Defensive walk-on grad student Elijah Pierre participated in Michigan’s pro day despite only one game played in two seasons on the roster, which was at right tackle. He posted a 40-yard dash time of 5.44 seconds, 3-cone time of 7.77 seconds and shuttle drill of 4.67 seconds. He did 20 reps of 225 pounds, vertical jumped 25.5 inches and recorded an 8-foot-7 broad jump.
Linebacker Josh Ross
Ross went through all athletic testing and position drills on Friday minus the broad jump. He recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.81 seconds with a 3-cone time of 7.65 and shuttle time of 4.60. Ross put up 17 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press and had a 33.5 inch vertical. He is a projected late-round pick.
Defensive back Vincent Gray
A starter at cornerback for Michigan in 2021, Gray ran a 40-yard dash of 4.64 seconds, vertical jumped 34 inches and broad jumped 10’2″ during his pro day worout. He is projected to come off the board late in the draft or as an undrafted free agent.
Running back Hassan Haskins
Haskins was present at Michigan’s pro day, but results were not posted so it is unclear if he went through drills. He opted out of everything but the bench press at the NFL Combine as he rehabbed from an ankle injury suffered at the Orange Bowl. When clarity becomes available on what he did on Friday, it will be updated here.
