Michigan football has become a boogeyman of sorts over the last few seasons in the Big Ten, but never more so than to its rival Ohio State. The rivalry was a major topic of discussion on this week’s Tuesday night live show on our YouTube channel with John Borton and Tom Crawford.

Ohio State has been dominated in the trenches by the Wolverines over the last two years, which has led to some existential crises to the south of the state line.

Add in the fact that Michigan is starting to increase its recruiting footprint in the state of Ohio, and it has things looking very different for the program moving forward.

“That’s where the rivalry really gets sensitive to everybody,” Crawford said. “It gets personal with everybody. I know we’re gonna talk a lot about the different aspects of Michigan, Ohio State on our broadcast today, but, Michigan has a footprint [in Ohio now].

“They’re in the mix for just about everybody. And the the talent gap has shrunk. I think that’s what keeps Ohio State people uncertain and nervous about things and losing two years in a row. Gotta go back up to the school gotta go to the school up north this coming November.”

Borton and Crawford discuss winning the Harbaugh way, Ohio State storylines, a kick time set for Michigan/Penn State and more.
