ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan Wolverines football is holding its Maize vs. Blue spring game at The Big House, and TheWolverine.com is on hand. The game is live on Big Ten Network with a noon ET kickoff time.

The team is split into two sides — the Maize and the Blue — for a scrimmage. Co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore is coaching the Blue, while co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach is in charge of the Maize. The two coaches and surrounding staff members drafted players earlier this week. Head coach Jim Harbaugh is serving as the ‘commissioner.’

Live Updates: Michigan Spring Game

• Final score: Blue 20, Maize 12

• The Maize converted on its ‘onside kick’ and is now able to drive the field. There is 22 seconds left after a completion with the ball at the Blue 42-yard line.

• The Maize team drove down for a made field goal by Rhett Anderson to make it 20-12, Blue team. The Maize squad will go for an ‘onside kick’ — which will actually be a 4th and 10 situation from the 35-yard line.

• Both Michigan sides traded a few punts, before the Blue team scored a potential game-sealing touchdown (with mixed extra point) to make it 20-9 with 4:33 left. Alan Bowman hit Sam Staruch for a five-yard score.

• End of the third quarter: Blue 14, Maize 9

• Davis Warren finds freshman early enrollee Amorion Walker for a 39-yard pass down the right sideline. There was a blown coverage by the Blue team to allow for the big gain. The Maize team couldn’t finish the drive with six points, though, but Rhett Anderson connected on a 33-yard field goal to cut the Blue lead to 14-9 with four seconds left in the third quarter.

• Touchdown, Blue team. Alan Bowman hit freshman early enrollee Darrius Clemons on a deep ball to the end zone, a 35-yard touchdown to make it 14-6, Blue, at the 3:31 mark of the third quarter.

• Each team has punted twice to start the second half. The Maize team — still led by Davis Warren — has the ball with under seven minutes to go in the third quarter.

• Halftime stats

• Half: Michigan Blue 7, Michigan Maize 6

• Rhett Anderson kicked a 31-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to make it 7-6 Blue team. The Maize team finishes off the half with a solid drive to pull within one point.

• Kalel Mullings was ruled down at the three-yard line, which brought up 4th and goal. Davis Warren’s pass fell incomplete intended for Cornelius Johnson. German Green was in on the coverage. The Blue team takes over at its own three-yard line.

• Kalel Mullings — who’s splitting time at running back and linebacker — has been big in the Maize’s scoring drive. He rushed a few times to help his team march down the field, then caught a pass and fumbled at the three-yard line. The ball was recovered by Cornelius Johnson, who scored a touchdown. The play is under review.

• Tavierre Dunlap with a three-yard touchdown to put Blue on top of Maize, 7-3, with 11:55 left in the second quarter.

• End of the first quarter: Maize 3, Blue 0. The Blue has a 3rd and goal inside the Maize’s 10-yard line. Erick All received a pass and then threw it to fellow tight end Colston Loveland, a Michigan early enrollee, for a 31-yard gain to spark the drive.

• Both teams traded punts. There is 3:26 remaining in the first quarter. So far, Cade McNamara has quarterbacked four drives — all of which have ended in punts.

• Kicker Rhett Anderson nailed a 25-yard field goal to put Maize on top, 3-0, with 7:36 left in the first quarter.

• Quarterback Davis Warren has led a nice drive for the Maize team. He hit Donovan Edwards on a 39-yard slot fade down the left side of the field and has his squad in the red zone.

• Each side has gone three-and-out to start the game. the Maize team has great field position at its own 44-yard line to start its second drive. On the last possession for the Blue, Cade McNamara threw a nice deep ball down the right side of the field intended for Andrel Anthony, but it was broken up by Mike Sainristil.

• Maize team won the coin toss and elected to receive. The kickoff was a touchback and the Maize team set up shop at the 25-yard line.
