Michigan football, the 3-2-1: On Tony Alford and pre-spring thoughts – who steps up?

Michigan football has plenty of question marks heading into the 2024 season after losing a dozen and a half players who will likely adorn NFL rosters this year. All is not lost, of course, as we pointed out in yesterday’s column — there’s plenty of talent returning — but many players are going to have to up their games if U-M is going to compete again in the Big Ten.
