Here are some more game notes for Michigan basketball:
• Michigan plays three of its next six games over a seven-day period. U-M plays five of those final six regular-season games over 13 days. The final six-game stretch begins and ends against Michigan State — at Crisler Center (Feb. 21) and the finale at the Breslin Center (March 9). Four of the last six games will be at Crisler Center, including three of the last four.
• U-M’s game with MSU is the eighth sellout at Crisler Center. It is the most in two seasons and marked the 15th season (58 total) of eight or more sellouts at Crisler.
• Michigan has not had back-to-back home games since the end of December.
• Michigan leads Michigan State, 104-90, in the all-time series. No. 12 Michigan and No. 14 Michigan State face each other as ranked opponents for the first time since 2020 — an 87-69 Spartan win at the Breslin Center (U-M was 12th and MSU was 14th). Overall U-M is 6-10 when both teams are ranked.

Quote Of The Day
“Wolf might be college basketball’s most unique player, ranking as the best pick-and-roll player in this draft class while being measured at 7-0,” Givony wrote. “He’s exceptionally skilled with his ability to handle, pass and finish with either hand, and is making 37% of his 3-pointers. He also rebounds prolifically, makes plays in passing lanes and protects the rim with outstanding basketball instincts.”
