Michigan football vs. Michigan State betting odds revealed
Michigan football is 7-0 and coming off a bye week ahead of its rivalry showdown with Michigan State on Saturday night in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines are 0-2 against Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker and will be out for revenge after a 37-33 loss in East Lansing last year.
As of Sunday morning, multiple sportsbooks have Michigan set as an 18.5-point favorite over MSU with the over/under set at 46.5 points. Using the Vegas line as a clue, oddsmakers see U-M winning a 33-14 type of game against the Spartans.

Michigan leads the all-time series against the Spartans by a 71-38-5 margin with its most recent victory coming in 2019, a 44-10 win in Ann Arbor. Tucker’s Spartans grabbed victories at the Big House (27-24) in 2020 and East Lansing (37-33) in 2021. Overall, head coach Jim Harbaugh is 3-4 against MSU since taking over at Michigan with wins in 2016 (32-23), 2018 (21-7) and 2019 (44-7).
The series has been largely in favor of the Spartans over the last 14 years. MSU is 10-4 against U-M since 2008, including Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke-coached teams in Ann Arbor. Still, former leader Mark Dantonio built a program that defines its season by the Michigan game and it has largely been sustained by the new regime.
