• 4Q, – Makari Paige closed the game out with an interception and the U-M offense kneeled it out to win the game.
• 4Q, 3:19 – Donovan Edwards scored an 85-yard touchdown to put the Buckeyes down for good, going up 45-23.
• 4Q, 4:19 – OSU gets into the redzone, but CJ Stroud intercepted by Taylor Upshaw at the OSU 8-yard line.
• 4Q, 7:11 — Donovan Edwards rips off a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the drive to give Michigan a 38-23 lead after the Jake Moody extra point.
• 4Q, 7:23 – Ohio State drives down but settles for a 27-yard Noah Ruggles field goal. Michigan holds a 31-23 edge with 7:23 left.
• 4Q, 9:21 — Michigan was stopped on third down and attempted a 57-yard field goal by Jake Moody. The kick came up just short and to the left. Ohio State takes over on its own 39-yard line.
• 4Q, 11:46 — Michigan junior EDGE Braiden McGregor broke up a pass behind the line of scrimmage and nearly intercepted it on third down. Ohio State punted and there was a personal foul on the Buckeyes. Michigan takes over on its own 43-yard line.
• 4Q, 13:10 — On 3rd and goal from the three-yard line, J.J. McCarthy runs it in on a quarterback sweep to give Michigan a 31-20 lead.
• End of the third quarter: Michigan 24, Ohio State 20. Michigan has 1st and 10 on the Ohio State 13-yard line.
• 3Q, 6:01 — An Ohio State holding call and personal foul set the Buckeyes way behind the sticks. They got it to 4th and 5 but chose to punt (an illegal snap on the punt team made it 4th and 10). The kick went into the end zone. Michigan takes over on its own 20-yard line.
• 3Q, 8:03 — Michigan gains just two yards on three plays, and a short, 33-yard punt by Brad Robbins sets Ohio State up on the U-M 49-yard line.
• 3Q, 8:58 — Michigan’s defense comes up with a huge third-down stop, forcing an Ohio State punt on 4th and 3. After the punt, Michigan takes over on its own 13-yard line.
• 3Q, 11:16 — J.J. McCarthy hits freshman tight end Colston Loveland on a 45-yard play-action touchdown pass to give the Wolverines a 24-20 lead. The opening drive of the second half was seven plays and 75 yards.
• Halftime score: Ohio State 20, Michigan 17. The Wolverines will receive to begin the second half.
• 2Q, 2:18 — Michigan goes three-and-out after linebacker Kalel Mullings took a third-down handoff and was stuffed, not picking up the one yard needed to move the chains. Ohio State takes over at its own 20-yard line after a fair catch.
• 2Q, 3:49 — Ohio State answers with a long touchdown of its own. C.J. Stroud hit an open Marvin Harrison Jr. for a 42-yard touchdown pass with Gemon Green in coverage. The Buckeyes take a 20-17 lead.
• 2Q, 5:24 — J.J. McCarthy hits Cornelius Johnson on a deep bomb over the middle. He was wide open, made the catch and took it the distance for a 75-yard score to take a 17-13 lead.
• 2Q, 5:36 — Ohio State hit a couple big plays to start the drive, but Michigan’s defense tightens up once again, forcing a 47-yard field goal attempt. Noah Ruggles’ kick is good, and Ohio State takes a 13-10 edge.
• 2Q, 7:26 — J.J. McCarthy got rid of the ball just in time with blitz in his face on 3rd and 9 and got it complete to Cornelius Johnson. He ripped through a couple defenders and took it the distance for a 69-yard score.
• 2Q, 9:00 — Ohio State is forced to punt after one first down. The kick went into the end zone for a touchback, and the Buckeyes were called for holding on the play. That 10-yard penalty was added to the touchback. Michigan ball on its own 30-yard line, down 10-3.

• 2Q, 10:26 — Michigan goes three-and-out and punts it away. Brad Robbins’ punt was 45 yards with a fair catch, and the Buckeyes take over on their own 22-yard line.
• 2Q, 11:31 — Ohio State goes for it on 4th and 2, but C.J. Stroud’s pass intended for tight end Cade Stover falls incomplete. Michigan junior EDGE Jaylen Harrell was in coverage. The Wolverines take over on their own 34-yard line.
• 2Q, 14:47 — J.J. McCarthy’s pass on third down falls incomplete, intended for Ronnie Bell. Michigan punts and Ohio State takes over on its own 30-yard line.
• End of the first quarter: Ohio State 10, Michigan 3. The Wolverines are facing a 3rd and 5 on their own 30-yard line.
• 1Q, 1:19 — Ohio State drives down with relative ease once again, but the Michigan defense comes up with a third-down stop to force a 32-yard field goal attempt. The kick by Noah Ruggles is good, and Ohio State has a 10-3 lead.
• 1Q, 6:07 — Jake Moody’s 49-yard field goal is good to make it 7-3, Ohio State. A 33-yard connection from quarterback J.J. McCarthy to wideout Ronnie Bell helped get Michigan down in field goal range. A controversial intentional grounding call backed the Wolverines up, but they were still able to get points.
• 1Q, 10:02 — Ohio State caps off a strong first drive with a 4-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Stroud to slot receiver Emeka Egbuka. Michigan nickelback Mike Sainristil was in coverage on the third-down play. Ohio State picked up a third down earlier in the drive, with a 19-yard pass to wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. with 1 yard to go.
