Michigan Wolverines football will play its final home game of the season Saturday against Ohio State (12:14 p.m. official kickoff time on FOX). It’s senior day at The Big House, with Michigan set to honor each fourth- fifth- and sixth-year player and their families before the game.

This is not necessarily the player’s final game at The Big House or season at Michigan just because he’s being honored on senior day. The Wolverines have all seniors and graduates take part in the festivities regardless of what they will do next, and many of those decisions are made weeks if not months from now. For example, graduate linebacker Michael Barrett, a sixth-year player, will go through his third senior day. He’s out of eligibility after this season.

Barrett is one of nine scholarship players on the Michigan team out of eligibility. He’s joined by wide receiver Cornelius Johnson, defensive back German Green, quarterback Jack Tuttle, defensive tackle Cam Goode, offensive tackle LaDarius Henderson, defensive back Mike Sainristil and cornerback Josh Wallace.

Senior running back Blake Corum has an extra season of eligibility due to the COVID year, but he’s already said that he’ll move on to the NFL after this season, not that he needed to state it. The same goes for graduate left guard Trevor Keegan and senior right guard Zak Zinter, both of whom will also be NFL Draft choices next spring.

“I think it’ll definitely be emotional, but it’s ‘The Game,’” Michigan’s 5-8, 213-pounder said of what Saturday will be like. “Who’s not going to be emotional? I’ll definitely be amped up. Going down that tunnel one last time, [I] definitely will have a lot of emotions going on, playing in front of 110,000, the best fan base.

“Going into my last game in The Big House, I just want to say, the University of Michigan has been nothing but good to me. I’m so glad I chose the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan chose me. I’m just thankful, man, and I’m excited. Hopefully, we can end with a bang.”

Here’s a look at all of Michigan’s players who will be honored before Saturday’s game.
