Michigan lands commitment from On300 OL Nathan Efobi
Michigan has picked up a verbal commitment from On300 offensive lineman Nathan Efobi.
The Cumming (Ga.) South Forsyth product sided with U-M over offers from Boston College, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, NC State, Penn State, Vanderbilt and others on Friday.
“The family feel stood out,” Efobi said. “(Former Michigan pass rusher) David Ojabo is a family friend. He told me how family oriented Michigan is. He told me it’s a place where I’m going to have fun. That really stands out.”
Michigan took a commanding lead for Efobi after hosting him for an unofficial visit in September for its win over Maryland.
It was there where Efobi really got an in-depth look at the program and fell in love.
“Going to Ann Arbor was a great experience,” Efobi said. “That Big House is massive. The fanbase is crazy. I loved being there. We hung out with the players in the locker room after the game. The players know this is a family. They are all brothers. Michigan just seems like a good place to be.”
Michigan offensive line coach Sherrone Moore offered Efobi over the summer and made him a top priority this cycle. Moore made sure to spend extended time with Efobi on his visit.

“We talked about what position I would play and why he likes me,” Efobi said. “He said he likes my versatility and length. He said I could play anywhere on the offensive line. He’s a great person. He can teach you anything easily. The way his offensive line played is encouraging.”
At 6-foot-4, 282 pounds, Efobi is ranked as the No. 10 interior offensive lineman and No. 129 overall prospect nationally, per On3.
Efobi has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.5K with 2.2K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
