Michigan lands commitment from Top 100 WR Andrew Marsh
Michigan has scored a massive win on the recruiting trail.
Top 100 Katy (Texas) Jordan wide receiver Andrew Marsh committed to U-M over fellow finalists Colorado, Texas, USC and Washington on Tuesday night.
“The people, the history, the reputation and the ability to get to the next level are reasons why Michigan has always been up there,” Marsh said.
Marsh’s decision came after three visits this summer. Marsh was on campus in early June and returned for his official visit for Victors Weekend just a couple of weeks later.
It was there where Michigan emerged as the team to beat in his recruitment.
“It was good,” Marsh said. “It’s always a good time up in Ann Arbor. It was good to see everyone. I felt like a priority and like someone they really want up there.”
Marsh was in Ann Arbor once again late last month for the annual BBQ at The Big House. That visit only reinforced his thoughts on Michigan.

“What really made it different from some of the other visits was the freedom,” Marsh said. “I’ve been up there a ton, obviously, so they gave me the freedom to get done what I needed to get done. I saw everything else I needed to see. We got to go float down the river, which was cool. Other than that, we chilled at The Big House, spent some time at the BBQ and looked at some real estate.”
At 6-foot, 175 pounds, Marsh is ranked as the No. 12 wide receiver and No. 87 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Rankings.
