Jumping in early to monitor the top offensive lineman in the state of Ohio is a widely known recruiting tactic for Michigan under its current coaching administration. With co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale as the team’s area recruiter, he’s recognized and successfully brought in several up-and-coming lineman from Ohio for visits throughout the calendar year, including 2025 Westerville North interior option Jake Cook for an unofficial last Saturday.
