Michigan has wrapped up its June official visit slate and is in the midst of the July dead period with 25 verbal commitments in the 2024 class. Meanwhile, in the 2025 class, the Wolverines are quietly leading for several priority targets, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

The Wolverine takes a look at where Michigan stands with each prospect.

Five-star Belleville (Mich.) High QB Bryce Underwood

RPM: Michigan (36.1%), Michigan State (19.9%), Ohio State (10.4%), LSU (5.8%)
The Skinny: Bryce Underwood has taken four unofficial visits to Michigan since March. He was last on campus to participate in the local 7v7 showcase, where he got to throw once again in front of quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell. Going back to when Campbell earned the promotion in January, he’s kept communication over the phone with the No. 1 overall prospect in the country and his family constant. Talks between both parties happen at least once a week.

Top 100 Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech ATH Alex Graham

RPM: U-M (90.2%), Kentucky (1.3%), Louisville (1.1%)
The Skinny: Alex Graham will be transferring to IMG Academy later this month but the Detroit native has visited Michigan the most over an 18-month period. The Wolverines were the first Division I program to offer Graham, the No. 4 ranked two-way recruit nationally, in January of last year and he’s quickly established a close bond with co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale. Graham sat down with head coach Jim Harbaugh for the first time on June 13th during his seventh unofficial visit to Ann Arbor.

Top 100 Corona (Calif.) Centennial QB Husan Longstreet

RPM: U-M (41.7%), UNLV (3.3%), San Jose State (2.8%), Arizona (2.4%)
The Skinny: Campbell has offered several 2025 quarterbacks and recently entered the mix for Husan Longstreet at the beginning of June when the No. 6 overall signal caller, per the On3 Industry Ranking, visited Ann Arbor for the first time. Longstreet also participated in the Wayne State Satellite Camp, where more time one-on-one with Campbell was allowed.

On300 Birmingham (Mich.) Groves IOL Avery Gach

RPM: U-M (21.9%), Michigan State (19.2%), Ohio State (16.4%), Notre Dame (9.3%)
The Skinny: Three visits to Michigan from Avery Gach since the Penn State game last season have given the team a slight lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The No. 3 overall in-state sophomore is getting close with offensive line coach and offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore. He went back to Ann Arbor in late May.

On300 Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer OT Carter Lowe

RPM: U-M (50.5%), Ohio State (29.7%), Michigan State (6.8%), Penn State (5.7%)
The Skinny: Michigan is in a tight-knit battle with Ohio State for Carter Lowe in the early going. The Big Ten rivals have hosted Lowe on 10 total unofficial visits with the Wolverines welcoming him and his family to campus six times. Moore’s development history is impressing the 6-foot-5, 285-pounder, who last made the short drive on June 7th.

Three-star Buford (Ga.) High RB Justin Baker

RPM: U-M (87.7%), Georgia (3.9%), South Carolina (3.3%), Penn State (1.9%)
The Skinny: An On3 prediction was issued in favor of Michigan for Justin Baker following the three-star’s first trip to Ann Arbor the first weekend of June. The multi-day trip featured meetings and relationship building with running backs coach Mike Hart, who’s issued high remarks on Baker’s speed and versatility. Michigan has one 2025 verbal commit from Buford High in linebacker Mantrez Walker, who’s continued to pitch the opportunity of the two remaining close in college.

Three-star University of Detroit (Mich.) Jesuit WR Elijah Dotson

RPM: U-M (44.9%), Penn State (39.3%), Central Michigan (3.1%), Western Michigan (2.6%)
The Skinny: Elijah Dotson scheduled his first-ever visit to Michigan two days after the April spring game and then picked up an offer from Clinkscale on May 16th. Dotson also plans to return for the annual BBQ at The Big House. The No. 5 ranked sophomore in the state of Michigan is listed as a wide receiver by On3 but the Wolverines are eyeing him as a potential addition to the secondary.

Three-star Ashville (N.C.) High LB Justin Rowe

RPM: U-M (58.3%), Appalachian State (4.6%), Charlotte (4.0%), Virginia Tech (3.3%)
The Skinny: One of the fastest-rising prospects in the state of North Carolina, Justin Rowe‘s double-digit offers have all come this offseason, including Michigan when linebackers coach Chris Partridge extended the interest in late April. The state’s No. 10 overall prospect is originally from Ottawa in the Canadian providence of Ontario but moved to the United States to play football.
