What's next for Michigan in-state recruiting? A look at key 2025 targets

With six months left before the early signing period, three prospects who are natives of the state of Michigan have verbally committed to the Wolverines, who appear to have completed their recruiting efforts inside the border this cycle. That's given the program a head start on further prioritization of the top sophomore athletes right in their backyard. So far, Michigan has put an offer on the table on seven 2025 in-state recruits. All of whom reside in Detroit or its suburbs. Five are also listed in the Top 7 overall on the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media services.
