Wolverine TV: Game clips of five-star+ Michigan QB target Bryce Underwood
Five-star+ Belleville (Mich.) High quarterback and priority Michigan target Bryce Underwood went 21-of-25 for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 65-14 district finals win on Saturday.
The Wolverine’s Zach Libby was onsite and captured exclusive clips from the contest. Watch highlights of Underwood in the video above.
Underwood Recruitment
Underwood dropped a Top 7 list earlier this week, which featured Michigan, LSU, Penn State, Colorado, Florida State, Oregon and Alabama.
U-M has hosted the in-state gunslinger on six unofficial visits this year alone, with his most recent return coming in late July for the annual BBQ at The Big House. He’s taken three game-day visits to Baton Rouge, Happy Valley and Boulder this fall.
Quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell continues to build a strong connection with Underwood and his family, as a planned commitment date is expected to fall on January 6.
“Definitely good,” Underwood told The Wolverine on Saturday. “We talk once a week, as always, over the phone. Texting here-and-there. Just to make sure we’re okay and things like that.”
Underwood currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $449K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
