NOTE: Updates below are in reverse chronological order

• 7 p.m. ET – Michigan’s 27th and final signee has come in with four-star cornerback Jo’Ziah Edmond.

• 4:29 p.m. ET – Four-star Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan is in, leaving one commit left to sign for the Wolverines.

• 3:29 p.m. ET — Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn has signed with Michigan during a ceremony at his high school.

• 3:17 p.m. ET — Avon (Ohio) High three-star offensive lineman Luke Hamilton has signed with the Wolverines.

• 3:12 p.m. ET — The Wolverine’s Zach Libby is on hand for four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn‘s Signing Day ceremony.

• 2:37 p.m. ET — South Park (Pa.) High three-star linebacker Zach Ludwig has put pen to paper and signed with Michigan.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Ludwig is the mystery man of the cycle. He quietly committed to U-M early and hardly has a social media presence. Our Zach Libby has been out to see him a couple of ties. Look, Ludwig is probably a two-star recruit, but he’s going to work hard under his uncle Ben Herbert, and he’ll likely contribute on special teams — probably as a long snapper. He played a little big of everything at the high school level and is a tough kid.

• 2:28 p.m. ET — Michigan commits that haven’t announced that they’ve signed yet: TE Brady Prieskorn, CB Jo’Ziah Edmond, LB Cole Sullivan, OL Luke Hamilton, LB Zach Ludwig

2:14 p.m. ET — Ijamsville (Md.) Oakdale three-star Dominic Nichols is the third and final EDGE to sign with Michigan Wednesday.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Nichols camped at Michigan as an underclassman and didn’t earn an offer. He didn’t pout and instead got to work, earning a scholarship this spring. Nichols always wanted to be at Michigan and is a great fit for the EDGE room. He doesn’t have the ceiling of Baxter or Edokpayi, but he has a higher floor. Nichols bulked up to 255 in the offseason but dropped down to 235 and took his game to the next level as a senior, setting school records and leading Oakdale to a state title. He’s also an athletic kid that was part of a state championship basketball team. Nichols is one of my personal favorite. Outgoing kid and very candid.

2:13 p.m. ET — Kansas City (Mo.) four-star offensive lineman Andrew Sprague has inked with the Wolverines.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Towering tackle prospect that uses his brute strength to his advantage. Extremely physical in the trenches, especially as a run blocker. Improved his feet as a senior and looked really comfortable at the second level, often destroying linebackers and defensive backs. Can keep improving as a pure pass protector, but I’m not too concerned about that. The dude is massive and one of the best lands of the 2024 cycle.

• 1:58 p.m. ET — Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier three-star defensive lineman Ted Hammond has signed with Michigan.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Hammond is a hard worker that brings his lunch pail to work everyday. There is nothing flashy about his game, but he has a solid motor and is deceptively athletic. In fact, Hammond is an elite level swimmer. Hammond spent a lot of his senior year at nose, so it was tough to really grade him. Michigan sees him as a three or 4i.

• 1:55 p.m. ET — Michigan has received a signature from Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day three-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin, another legacy recruit and the son of former Michigan and NFL offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin, who played under Jim Harbaugh with the San Francisco 49ers.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Goodwin isn’t a flashy player. He doesn’t have elite speed or measureables. But the dude is always open. Goodwin knows how to find holes in defenses and moves the chains. He’s a great natural pass catcher and an extremely reliable target. If you need to convert on third down, Goodwin is your guy. He was a big security blanket for Michigan quarterback signee Jadyn Davis. He did show improved speed as a senior and made more plays after the catch. A legacy recruit, Goodwin is another culture piece. He’s a really good kid, too. He couldn’t participate in our signing day series because he was on a family vacation, but he snet me a personalized thank you text, which I appreciated.

• 1:32 p.m. ET — Austin (Texas) Vandegrift four-star offensive lineman Blake Frazier, the son of former U-M center Steve Frazier, has signed with the Maize and Blue.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Frazier was the best commit I saw in game action this season. The On300 prospect is still a bit thin, but he’s extremely athletic and has terrific feet. Frazier impressed me the most with his physicality in the run game and mean streak. He finishes blocks with authority. Frazier is technically refined and could easily add 50 pounds. I project him as a right tackle but he could slide inside. A legacy recruit, Frazier is a culture builder and was a joy to cover. Just watch my Q&A with him. He’s a future team captain.

• 1:11 p.m. ET – A little over an hour after his commitment, Edokpayi announced his signing with the Wolverines.

• 1:10 p.m. ET — Four-star safety signee Jacob Oden signed earlier today and shares a picture of himself in his Michigan uniform. An early enrollee, Oden already started practicing with the Wolverines ahead of the Rose Bowl.

12:12 p.m. ET – Three-star Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) running back Micah Ka’apana officially signed shortly after Marshall.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Ka’apana is one of the more undervalued back nationally in large part because he split carries throughout his high school career. Still, Ka’apana showed plenty of speed and versatility for powerhouse Bishop Gorman. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and has plenty of juice in the open field. He’s a really solid all-purpose back and a great complement to the aforementioned Marshall. It will be interesting to see if he or Cole Cabana emerges as the next man up for the Donovan Edwards role.

• 12:05 p.m. ET – Four-star Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) running back Jordan Marshall officially announced his signature, which came earlier this morning. He is the No. 81 overall recruit in the country and U-M’s top-ranked pledge in 2024.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: The star of the class. With Blake Corum leaving and Donovan Edwards potentially following, I think Marshall has a chance to come in and have a freshman season much like his position coach, Mike Hart. Marshall is a powerful runner between the tackles and was very productive at the HS level, earning Mr. Ohio honors. He showed improved speed as a senior and also flashed as a pass catcher. He has bell cow every down back written all over him. Going into enemy territory and beating out Ohio State for Marshall signifies a shift in the rivalry.

• 11:46 a.m. ET – Michigan landed the commitment of four-star EDGE Lugard Edokpayi just before noon, and he is expected to sign by the end of the day.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Edokpayi is a true late senior riser who didn’t notch his first Power Five offer until October. I had a chance to see him at school twice, and his 6-foot-7 listing is legit. I’m 6-1, and he makes me look like one of Santa’s elves. The length is truly special. Edokpayi looks more like a basketball player right now. However, at 215, he has room to add a ton of weight. He could get all the way up to 270 under Ben Herbert. Edokpayi is still very raw and has a low floor. However, his ceiling is one of the highest in the class.

• 11:39 a.m. ET – Pointe Vedra Beach (Fla.) interior offensive lineman and three-star prospect Jake Guarnera announces his signing.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: It’s hard to grade centers high in the rankings, but I think Guarnera is one of the best in the country. This was actually his first year playing center after moving inside from tackle. He has good feet for a pure interior offensive lineman and is great in pass pro thanks to his tackle experience. I saw him in his season opener, and he continued to grow more comfortable snapping throughout the fall. He’s not afraid to get physical in the run game either. High floor prospect. Really nice kid and a great family.

• 11:25 a.m. ET – Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward three-star offensive lineman Ben Roebuck made his signing official shortly after Davis.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Saw Roebuck as an underclassman at the Under Armour camp in Ohio. Massive tackle prospect at 6-foot-7, 340 pounds. His size and brute strength pops out at you right away. Roebucks plays with an edge and had a strong senior year, earning first team MaxPreps All-American honors. His feet are a concern. I worry he may have to switch to guard, where his height could be a hindrance. I probably like Roebuck more than most, though. You can’t teach size, and I love his attitude and willingness to work.

• 11:24 a.m. ET – Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis is officially locked in with the Wolverines.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Despite all the controversy this cycle, I still have Davis graded as a Top 200 prospect. That’s still very, very good and as I’ve written before, he can win a lot of games at Michigan. He’s accurate short-intermediate and knows how to control an offense/manage the game. He’s a good decision maker and knows how to read defenses pre-snap. High floor in a weak year at the quarterback position. Short/lacks mobility knocks down his ranking for me. Also has a hitch/inconsistent deep ball. Still, he’s an ideal fit for a pro-style scheme. I wish Jadyn the best. He was never the issue in his recruitment.

• 10:55 a.m. ET – Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglas three-star cornerback Jeremiah Lowe sent in his letter of intent shortly before 11 a.m. local time.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Lowe played his high school ball with Steve Clinkscale’s son, so Clink was able to get extra eyes on him over the last few years. Lowe doesn’t pop out from an athletic or size standpoint. He does make some good plays on the ball, but he needs a lot of work. I see him as more of a depth piece. Ranked in the 1000s, so Clink is taking a shot here.

• 10:39 a.m. ET – Bellevue (Va.) four-star tight end Hogan Hansen has officially signed with Michigan.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Very willing blocker. Impressive build. Is a guy that’s going to be comfortable as an in-line tight end as soon as he steps foot on campus. Can split out and be an effective receiver. However, he did not get many opportunities to do so in HS. That’s a big reason his rankings have dropped. Part of the FSP program in the Pacific Northwest, which produced Colston Loveland.

• 9:51 a.m. ET — Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park four-star EDGE Devon Baxter has inked with the Maize and Blue.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: I went out to see Baxter when Michigan first offered. At the time, he was unranked and didn’t have a profile picture. Some may remember that I’ve been banging the drum ever since. Baxter is a long, athletic prospect with an impressive build at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds. He’s weighed as much as 260, so he’s not a skinny guy. He can add a lot of good weight under Ben Herbert. His length definitely stands out. Former quarterback with a high football IQ. His dad is his DL coach at Gwynn Park. Michigan was actually impressed with Baxter’s film breakdowns of the U-M pass rushers. He is still raw and didn’t get many opportunities to pin his ears back and get after the QB at the HS level — played in a run heavy league. Might need some time to develop but ceiling is super high. Dev is one of my favorite kids. Really laid back and just a cool kid.

• 9:47 a.m. ET — In one year, it’ll be 2025 Michigan cornerback commit Chris Ewald Jr.‘s turn to sign his Letter of Intent. Ewald is the No. 73 overall player and ninth-best cornerback in his class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

• 8:59 a.m. ET — Michigan has received a Letter of Intent from Princeton (N.J.) Hun School three-star defensive lineman Owen Wafle.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Wafle was my favorite player to watch this season. The dude is an absolute bulldog in the trenches. He plays with an aggressive mentality, is extremely physical and loves to punish people. As Wafle said in my Q&A with him below, “I’m not going to be on someone’s highlight reel. I’m going to put people on my highlight reel.” Wafle also says he can’t listen to music while driving because it makes him angry and added that he only wore a flannel to The Game because the cold has no affect on him. Wafle may not have the NFL profile, but he can be a very successful college player in the same mold as Mason Graham. He’s one of the more underrated recruits in the class and one of my personal favorites. I also love that he flipped from Notre Dame. He belongs at Michigan.

8:36 a.m. ET — Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth four-star athlete Mason Curtis has officially put pen to paper and signed with the Wolverines.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Curtis had a better in-game evaluation when he was a junior. That year Curtis played more of a hybrid linebacker role. This year, he played more of a true safety role. I think he’s best suited for the WILL spot or the EDGE. A lot will depend on how his body develops. Right now, he’s 6-foot-4, 205 pounds but has the frame to carry A LOT of weight. Michigan considers him a positionless defensive athlete, but they are excited about his ceiling — as am I. I’m just not really sure what he’ll become. Playing safety allowed him to get really comfortable in coverage. He has great length and is pretty athletic. Curtis is another quiet kid that leads by example. He was Michigan’s first commit and never wavered.

• 8:06 a.m. ET — Chicago Kenwood Academy four-star wide receiver I’Marion Stewart has signed with Michigan.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Stewart is a quick, shift slot receiver that can also line up wide if needed. He’s been on the recruiting scene since he was an eighth grader and grew up in Chicago’s Midwest Boom program, which produced J.J. McCarthy and Tyler Morris. Stewart is also an effective punt and kick returner. He actually had two punt returns for TDs called back when I saw him in-game this year. I also saw Stewart in several national club 7v7 tournaments, and he was consistently a top performer. Stewart is a crafty route runner and knows how to get open. He also has more juice than fellow commit Channing Goodwin. I think he’s best suited for a Semaj Morgan type of role. Off the field, Stewart is such a great kid. He always has a big smile on his face and really loves the game of football.

• 8:01 a.m. ET — Watch live as four-star Michigan running back commit Jordan Marshall holds a Signing Day ceremony.

• 7:57 a.m. ET — Michigan has scored a signature from Landisville (Pa.) Manheim Township three-star defensive lineman Deyvid Palepale.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Palepale is rated as a three-star in the 700s, but this was a true Plan A situation for the staff. They identified him fairly early and made him a top overall priority. Palepale was, of course, a Michigan lean early before shocking everyone and picking USC. He immediately had regrets and recently flipped to Michigan. As a player, Paleapale is a stout nose that can also play the three. He’s a legit 6-2 1/2, 315 and is built like a tank. He won’t need to add too much weight at the next level and is already powerful. Palepale also has good speed and athleticism for being a 300-pounder. It’s all about getting him to play with a consistent motor. I thought Palepale was going to rise in the rankings this fall but he had a foot injury and a falling out with his coach. He was also hidden in Amish country. I think I’m the only recruiting reporter that has ever seen him.

• 7:44 a.m. ET — Charlotte (N.C.) West Charlotte four-star linebacker Jaden Smith has sent in his Letter of Intent.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Michigan offered Smith in the spring, and I actually saw him a day later at the Under Armour camp in Charlotte. At the time, I wrote that Smith was a project but that I thought Michigan found something. Fast forward to now, and I still feel the same way. I saw Smith in-game in August and loved his speed (4.48) and athleticism at his size. He also has impressive length and the room to add plenty of weight. However, he’s out there playing with his head cut off. His game needs refinement overall. I do think he can make an immediate impact on special teams. He had several blocked punts and field goals throughout his high school career and was a mercenary on kickoff. Jay Harbaugh is going to love this kid.

RELATED: Bio Blast: Meet On300 Michigan linebacker signee Jaden Smith

• 7:16 a.m. ET — Belleville (Mich.) High four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley has signed his Letter of Intent.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: Like with Oden, I first saw Beasley when he was a freshman thanks to his affiliation with Sound Mind Sound Body. I also saw Beasley in-game as a sophomore and thought he was already better than fellow linebacker Aaron Alexander, who was committed to U-M at the time. Beasley is physical and fills gaps in a hurry. He has good speed and explosiveness as evidenced by his tape at running back. Beasley played travel 7v7 his whole high school career and has gotten really comfortable in coverage. I see him as a Michael Barrett type. Off the field, Beasley is another quiet kid who leads by example. Really smart as well. I know he had a 4.0 GPA as an underclassman.

RELATED: Signee Spotlight: Four-star Michigan LB Jeremiah Beasley talks enrolling early and staying close to home

• 7:03 a.m. ET — Harper Woods (Mich.) High four-star defensive back Jacob Oden has signed with Michigan.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: I saw Oden for the first time when he was just a freshman. Oden grew up in the Sound Mind Sound Body program and grew up under the likes of Will Johnson and Semaj Morgan. While he’s not very speedy or overly athletic, Oden is a high floor player that could make an impact sooner than expected. He has great natural ball skills and instincts. He’s also a student of the game, which is no surprise considering his father is ex-Wolverine and current Harper Woods head coach Rod Oden. I like Oden for the Rod Moore role. Off the field, Oden is fairly quiet, but he takes a lot of pride in being a Wolverine and did his best to be a vocal recruiter this cycle.

• 3:47 a.m. ET — Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall three-star defensive lineman Manuel Beigel — a Frankfurt, Germany, native — is Michigan’s first commit to sign.

EJ Holland’s thoughts: I saw Beigel in his first ever game in the United States, where he played exclusively along the OL. I actually think he could end up there at the next level. Beigel is right at about 6-5, 290 and looks like he has no body fat. He’s an impressive athletic specimen with long arms and great speed/burst for his size. However, he is still learning the technical aspects of the game. And while he’s athletically gifted, he’s still getting comfortable with bending, get off, pass rush, etc. Basically using his athleticism and length to his advantage. It’s going to take a few years to develop at Michigan, but he got some goo experience at Choate and has a heigh ceiling. Off the field, Beigel is pretty quiet and an avid reader. His English has gotten better, and overall, he’s just a really friendly kid.

• 12 a.m. ET — It’s officially National Signing Day! We’re expecting Michigan commits to start becoming signees early in the morning, between 6-7 a.m. Most Letters of Intent should be in before noon ET.
