Michigan is slated to welcome double-digit targets in the 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes this weekend for the spring game. The Wolverine examines where U-M currently stands for each prospect, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

Top 100 EDGE Nate Marshall, Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 40 Overall, No. 4 Defensive Lineman, No. 1 in Illinois
RPM: Alabama (28.8%), Miami (20.3%), Michigan (13.1%), Notre Dame (7.4%)
Past U-M Visits: 11/25/23, 7/30/23

Nate Marshall returns to Michigan for the first time this offseason after appearing in Ann Arbor for last year’s late July BBQ at The Big House and the game against Ohio State in late November. He’s heard from new defensive line Lou Esposito multiple times since the latter was brought onto the staff last month.

Top 100 WR Derek Meadows, Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 51 Overall, No. 7 Wide Receiver, No. 2 in Nevada
RPM: Notre Dame (92.5%), South Carolina (3.8%), Michigan (1.2%)
Past U-M Visits: N/A

Derek Meadows is familiar with the Metro Detroit area because of relatives residing there. He has a former Bishop Gorman teammate, 2024 running back signee Micah Ka’apana, who signed with Michigan. Wide receiver Ron Bellamy has built a close relationship with Meadows, whose weekend trip is his first-ever recruiting visit to Ann Arbor.

Top 100 CB Mark Zackery, Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 94 Overall, No. 10 Cornerback, No. 2 in Indiana
RPM: Notre Dame (94.8%), Michigan (1.3%)
Past U-M Visits: 10/17/23

Mark Zackery‘s spring game appearance is his first of two offseason returns to Michigan. He also has an official visit scheduled on June 14-16. Recently hired defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan has been in contact with Zackery and his loved ones, who last toured the facilities on a midweek trip last October.

On300 EDGE Marco Jones, Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 147 Overall, No. 20 EDGE, No. 14 in California
RPM: USC (18.2%), Oregon (16.0%), Cal (7.2%), Michigan (6.0%)
Past U-M Visits: N/A

Marco Jones was offered by Michigan in May of 2023. 11 months later, he’s set to be on campus for the first time. Jones has been impressed with the coaching that led the Wolverines to their first outright national championship since 1948. A chance to compete in the College Football Playoffs at the next level is a factor in the recruitment of Jones, who sees that opportunity in Ann Arbor.

On300 LB Kamar Archie, Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School, 2025

On3 Ranking: No. 198 Overall, No. 21 Linebacker, No. 7 in New Jersey
RPM: Rutgers (43.7%), Penn State (27.4%), Michigan (9.7%), Clemson (4.2%)
Past U-M Visits: 2/3/24

Kamar Archie is a former teammate of 2024 defensive lineman signee Owen Wafle. Michigan welcomed Archie to Schembechler Hall on the final weekend of the winter contact period. He has a preexisting relationship with new linebackers Brian Jean-Mary from the assistant’s tenure at Tennessee. U-M has been a consistent presence in Archie’s recruitment this offseason.

On300 RB Iverson Howard, Gaithersburg (Md.) Quince Orchard, 2025

On3 Ranking: No. 274 Overall, No. 23 Running Back, No. 9 in Maryland
RPM: Michigan (50.0%), Maryland (9.4%), Penn State (8.1%), West Virginia (6.7%)
Past U-M Visits: 5/11/23

Iverson Howard‘s spring game trip will proceed an official visit on June 7-9. He’s looking forward to receiving face-to-face time with running backs coach Tony Alford.

Four-star OL Avery Gach, Birmingham (Mich.) Groves, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 252 Overall, No. 19 Interior Offensive Lineman, No. 2 in Michigan
RPM: Michigan (93.1%), MSU (2.4%), Ohio State (1.2%)
Pas U-M Visits: 4/7/24, 3/22/24, 11/25/23, 11/4/23, 10/14/23, 7/30/23, 5/22/23, 3/19/23, 10/15/22

Avery Gach is trending considerably toward committing to Michigan following two recent spring return visits. In total, the in-state offensive lineman has traveled to Ann Arbor nine times over 18 months. Head coach Sherrone Moore and offensive line coach Grant Newsome have developed tight-knit relationships with Gach and his family.

Three-star WR Phillip Wright, Destrehan (La.) High, 2025

Industry Ranking: No. 402 Overall, No. 63 Wide Receiver, No. 11 in Louisiana
RPM: Baylor (44.2%), LSU (13.7%), Mississippi State (11.8%), Michigan (9.8%)
Past U-M Visits: N/A

Phillip Wright attends the same high school that previously provided Bellamy, who issued an offer to the junior in November of last year. Wright doesn’t have a return trip to Michigan set, but that could change this weekend when he experiences the College Football Playoff winners for the first time. His speed stands out with a 10.46 100-meter dash.

Top 100 WR Jabari Mack, New Orleans (La.) Destrehan, 2026

On3 Ranking: No. 40 Overall, No. 6 Wide Receiver, No. 5 in Louisiana
RPM: Mississippi State (49.5%), LSU (15.4%), Michigan (13.2%), Oregon (11.0%)
Past U-M Visits: N/A

Jabari Mack is a teammate of Wright and publicly reported an offer from Bellamy during the winter contact period. Their close tie with Louisiana has Mack’s attention and an immediate connection created with the U-M alumnus. Like Wright, the spring game will mark Mack’s first-ever trip to campus.

On300 WR CJ Sadler, Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech, 2026

On3 Ranking: No. 103 Overall, No. 14 Wide Receiver, No. 2 in Michigan
RPM: Michigan (90.5%), MSU (3.0%), Penn Stater (1.4%), Alabama (1.1%)
Past U-M Visits: 11/25/23, 3/26/23, 10/29/22, 10/15/22

CJ Sadler was been on Michigan’s radar since middle school when the local program pulled the trigger. Yielding three game-day visits to The Big House over the last two seasons, Sadler’s return this weekend is his first time since the win over Ohio State five months ago. The two-way ability of Sadler at the next level appeals greatly to the Wolverines.

On300 TE Mack Sutter, Dunlap (Ill.) High, 2026

On3 Ranking: No. 121 Overall, No. 7 Tight End, No. 1 in Illinois
RPM: Iowa (91.2%), Wisconsin (1.7%), Michigan (1.4%), Nebraska (1.2%)
Past U-M Visits: N/A

Mack Sutter announced his offer from Michigan less than two months after the program brought in new tight ends coach Steve Casula. He didn’t travel to Ann Arbor prior to the offer, so getting an up-close look at U-M’s tight end production and the continued ascension of Colston Loveland will be a focus.

On300 WR Payton Cook, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban, 2026

Industry Ranking: No. 135 Overall, No. 20 Wide Receiver, No. 4 in Ohio
RPM: Michigan (45.8%), MSU (3.0%), Pitt (27.2%), Kentucky (12.2%), Louisville (10.2%)
Past U-M Visits: 11/25/23, 6/14/23

Payton Cook will be at Michigan for the third time following a trip to see the Ohio State game last season and participate in a June camp hosted by the team last year. Bellamy has been in contact with Cook, who comes from the same Northeast Ohio powerhouse from which U-M interim defensive line assistant LaTroy Lewis graduated.

Four-star DL Luke Wafle, Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School, 2026

Industry Ranking: No. 194 Overall, No. 18 Defensive Lineman, No. 2 in New Jersey
RPM: Penn State (39.6%), Michigan (23.5%), Duke (10.5%), Oklahoma (8.8%)
Past U-M Visits: 11/25/23

Luke Wafle is Owen Wafle’s younger brother. They were together on a visit to Michigan for The Game. Owen continues to pitch the idea of them remaining close in college. Newsome is the area recruiter for New Jersey and has gotten to know Luke well.

Three-star DB Demari Clemons, Buffalo (N.Y.) Bennett, 2026

On3 Ranking: No. 40 Cornerback, No. 2 in New York
RPM: Syracuse (37.6%), Penn State (32.9%), Michigan (11.6%), Pitt (5.1%)
Past U-M Visits: 4/21/23

Demari Clemons‘s second appearance at Michigan is one day short of his last trip a year ago. The former coaching staff pulled the trigger on the Upstate New York secondary prospect last April. Now, Clemons looks forward to meeting Morgan and the rest of the defensive staff. Clemons is an FBU All-American and won a state championship as a freshman.
