On3 RPM: Michigan leads for these recruits following big visit weekend
Michigan brought in dozens of underclassmen targets last wekeend for the Purdue game and is the leader for several in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
The Wolverine closely examines the prospects who are trending towards U-M.
Top 100 CB Dawayne Galloway, Columbus (Ohio) Marion-Franklin
On3 Ranking: No. 98 Overall, No. 11 Cornerback, No. 3 in Ohio
RPM: U-M (50.8%), Purdue (23.3%), Miami (OH) (1.5%), Toledo (1.5%)
The Skinny: Dawayne Galloway picked up an offer from Michigan co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale in late September. His visit for the night game was the second time he’s been in Ann Arbor after participating in a camp run by the coaching staff six months ago.
On300 IOL Avery Gach, Birmingham (Mich.) Groves
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 185 Overall, No. 9 Interior Offensive Lineman, No. 2 in Michigan
RPM: U-M (28.8%), Michigan State (21.8%), Ohio State (14.5%), Notre Dame (6.2%)
The Skinny: Avery Gach and his family have made two game-day visits to Michigan this season. They first saw the win over Indiana and got full treatment on Saturday. The in-state mauler is a top priority next cycle for offensive line coach Sherrone Moore, who stayed for the entirety of Gach’s playoff game during the bye week.
Three-Star TE Eli Owens, Alcoa (Tenn.) High

The Skinny: Eli Owens has driven up to Michigan five times. As part of National Players Academy, based in Nashville, which yields a strong working relationship with the U-M coaching staff, Owens’ prior visits all took place in the offseason, so seeing a game in person added to his strong familiarity with the area.
Three-Star CB Jahmari DeLoatch, Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith
On3 Ranking: No. 45 Cornerback, No. 13 in Virginia
RPM: U-M (88.0%), Old Dominion (3.7%), Duke (3.1%), Liberty (2.6%)
The Skinny: Jahmari DeLoatch sat two rows behind the home bench last weekend, the first time he’s ever seen a Michigan game live. Saturday was also DeLoatch’s return to Ann Arbor after working out in front of the coaches in late July during the annual BBQ at The Big House.
Rising DL Mariyon Dye, Elkhart (Ind.) High

The Skinny: Mariyon Dye publicly reported an offer from Michigan right before pregame on his first-ever visit to campuus. Pass rush specialist Dylan Roney extended the offer as the Wolverines are gradually dipping more into Indiana next cycle.
Rising WR Quinn Morris, Plainfield (Ill.) East

The Skinny: Quinn Morris is the younger brother of Michigan sophomore wide receiver Tyler Morris. The former has been to Ann Arbor as a prospective recruit and in support of his sibling at least nine times, including for three home games this season.
2026 DB Marcello Vitti, Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child

RPM: U-M (42.5%), Michigan State (19.1%), Penn State (16.3%), Kentucky (7.1%)
The Skinny: Marcello Vitti comes from the same school that Aidan Hutchinson graduated from and has taken in two game-day visits at The Big House, including Saturday, which was his fourth trip to campus. Vitti is a standout member of SoundMind SoundBody and has been impressed with how former SMSB stars have gone on to make plays for Michigan.

2026 DB Cam Thomas, West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West

The Skinny: Cam Thomas made a July appearance at Michigan for the barbecue, where Clinkscale delivered an offer. On Saturday, Thomas returned with a few Lakota West teammates and got to speak to Clinkscale again in person. The Wolverines, who are standing out for Thomas, are also eyeing the sophomore as a hybrid linebacker and safety.
2026 QB Hugh Price, Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Bell

The Skinny: Hugh Price first visited Michigan in June to throw in front of quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell at a camp. He earned an offer on the spot. Saturday’s game was Price’s opportunity to see JJ McCarthy in action. Price told The Wolverine‘s EJ Holland last week that he watched all eight prior U-M games on TV and liked the balanced nature of the offense.

The Skinny: Jakob Weatherspoon is a teammate of four-star Michigan interior offensive lineman commit Luke Hamilton. All three of Weatherspoon’s visits to Ann Arbor have included Hamilton by his side. Clinkscale entered the mix for the sophomore following his trip for the game against Indiana last month. Weatherspoon credits Hamilton for helping him get on U-M’s radar.
2027 ATH Dakota Guerrant, Harper Woods (Mich.) High

The Skinny: Dakota Guerrant is the younger cousin of On300 Michigan defensive back commit Jacob Oden and nephew of former U-M walk-on fullback Rod Oden. Clinkscale offered Guerrant in May as the in-state freshman playmaker has made three visits to Ann Arbor this year.
2027 ATH Anthony Cartwright, Detroit (Mich.) Country Day

The Skinny: Like with Guerrant, three visits to Michigan have already been made by Anthony Cartwright, who announced an offer from the team right before walking out of the tunnel at The Big House for warmups on Saturday. It’s early in the process for Cartwright, but schools seeing him playing tight end or wide receiver at the next level.
2027 ATH Darryl Flemister, Detroit (Mich.) King

The Skinny: Darryl Flemister was one of two freshman recruits from the Detroit powerhouse to get a Michigan offer last weekend, alongside EDGE Jameer Henry. The Wolverines continue to prioritize King King and Flemister is next up in line.
