On3 dropped another rankings update Monday morning, featuring some major movement for some of Michigan’s top 2026 targets. Most notably, priority offensive tackle target Kelvin Obot jumped nearly 30 spots up to No. 9 nationally.

Michigan’s class ranks No. 41 nationally and No. 12 in the Big Ten, but the Wolverines are still in the mix for 5 of the Top 20 recruits in the country and plenty other talented recruits. Let’s take a look at the notable rising and falling prospects in the updated On300.

Michigan recruiting targets move up and down On3 rankings

Five-star edge rusher Carter Meadows remains U-M’s highest-ranked target at No. 6 nationally, with Obot checking in just a few spots behind as the No. 3 tackle nationally. They both spent time with Michigan this spring.

Elite offensive tackle Felix Ojo slots in at No. 11 nationally, while running back Savion Hiter retains his title as the nation’s no. 1 running back at No. 12 nationally. This Top 20 duo did not visit this spring but will spent OVs with the Wolverines.

Four-star athlete Salesi Moa visited U-M earlier this year and will return for a June 13 official visit. He climbed from No. 60 to No. 36 nationally. Priority receiver target Messiah Hampton made a huge jump from No. 122 to No. 49. He also stopped by Ann Arbor this spring.

Top priority tight end target Matt Ludwig climbed into the Top 100 in this rankings update and now sits at No. 92 in the class. Safety target Craig Tutt made a significant leap from No. 257 to No. 110. Defensive line target Titan Davis (No. 113) dropped more than 50 spots out of the Top 100. He will be back in Ann Arbor for Victors Weekend.

Priority linebacker Brayden Rouse jumped from No. 203 to No. 156 in this update. Michigan is building momentum in his recruitment, and he locked in a June 6 OV. Four-star tight end Brayden Fogle also rose 20 spots to No. 163.

Running back target Amari Latimer now ranks No. 177 nationally, a significant jump up from No. 239. Offensive tackle Wilson Zierer entered the On300 at No. 190 in this update. He visited in March. Priority safety Chace Calicut re-entered the On300 as the No. 231 recruit in the country. His recruitment is a tight battle between U-M and Texas.

Top quarterback target Brady Smigiel dropped from No. 193 to No. 246. He is trending towards Michigan after a multi-day trip to Ann Arbor. Flip target Shadarius Toodle fell from No. 162 to No. 262 in the rankings. He also stopped by Ann Arbor recently and will be back May 30 for an official visit.

Defensive back targets Chaston Smith (No. 296) also jumped into the On300 to round out the notable climbs in the rankings.

Cornerback Jaziel Hart, wide receiver Christian Ward, safety Andre Clarke and cornerback Dorian Barney all dropped out of the On300.
