Signee Spotlight: On300 TE Brady Prieskorn talks why Michigan is the right fit
On300 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn has submitted his National Letter of Intent and is officially signed with Michigan after being verbally committed for over eight months.
The Wolverine’s Zach Libby caught up with Prieskorn to discuss his decision, why he stayed solid with the Wolverines throughout the process and more. Watch the exclusive interview above.
Prieskorn Recruitment
Prieskorn was the top tight end target on the board Michigan in the 2024 recruiting class. Growing up less than an hour from Ann Arbor, the elite playmaker made five unofficial visits before announcing a commitment in April.
He chose the Wolverines over notable offers from Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia and others.
“I’m ready to see the actual college level and see how fast it is,” Prieskorn told The Wolverine. “I’m so excited to get out there and get after it. I’m ready to get to work with (four-star TE signee Hogan Hansen) these next four years. I obviously want to learn and get better. Get better while with the people in front of me so that they can teach me.”
Michigan tight ends coach Grant Newsome led the way in establishing a close relationship with Prieskorn.
“There aren’t many guys like (Prieskorn) who can do it all and still have the potential to get better,” Adams assistant coach, co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Mark Patritto told The Wolverine. “He can block. He has the willingness to block. He’s not scared to block. He plays defense for us as well, so he’s physical and is good with his hands. He catches the ball and runs routes really well. He’s very, very coachable. He listens and always applies the technique that we coach him to do. I really don’t think there’s a weakness to his game, and I think when he starts working with the right coaches and scheme, the sky will be the limit with what they’re able to get out of him.”
Prieskorn led Adams to a 6-4 record this past season, appearing in the MHSAA Division I playoffs. He finished with 33 catches for 665 yards and 8 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 14 sacks, 22 tackles for a loss and 3 pass breakups. As a sophomore, Prieskorn led Adams to the Division I Finals.

Before the start of the 2023 campaign, he was named a preseason MaxPreps All-American. The Detroit Free Press listed Prieskorn on its Michigan high school football 2023 Dream Team and he’s on the Associated Press all-state first team.
Prieskorn has an On3 NIL Valuation of $109K with 4.3K followers on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
He’s set to enroll early.
At 6-foot-5.5, 225 pounds, Prieskorn is listed as the No. 133 overall prospect and No. 11 tight end in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four primary recruiting media services. On3 ranks him as the No. 1 player in Michigan.
Scouting Report
“I think Brady’s biggest strengths are the versatility that he brings on the offensive side of the ball, his size and pass-catching ability. Projecting him forward as a blocker, you’re looking at a pure in-line, Big Y type of tight end. That’s what he brings to the table, maybe relative to other top tight ends in the country, who are more pass catchers at this point. But when looking at Brady, he’ll be able to develop into that every down tight end, who can put his hand in the dirt and play on run and pass downs.” – On3 director of scouting and rankings Charles Power
