Top 100 in-state TE Brady Prieskorn commits to Michigan
Michigan has earned a commitment from four-star Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn.
Prieskorn chose Michigan over notable offers from Penn State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee and Miami. All eight were featured on Prieskorn’s Top 8 list that was released back in mid-March.
The 6-foot-5 and 220-pounder returned to Ann Arbor later that month where on the visit, he was featured in a photo posted by On300 Michigan offensive tackle commit Blake Frazier that went viral. Depicted were Prieskorn, Frazier, Top 100 running back commit Jordan Marshall and Top 100 quarterback commit Jadyn Davis.
“The biggest takeaway (from that visit) was being with those guys,” Prieskorn told The Wolverine. “It was fun because I haven’t really done that at any other place. I know if I went there and they went there, we would have a good relationship because they’re all good dudes.”
Prieskorn visited Michigan four times in 2022 as his priority on the tight end board this cycle remained consistent by tight ends coach Grant Newsome, holding Prieskorn as the top option on the board for many months.

The Wolverines have now landed two 2024 tight ends with Prieskorn pairing next to four-star Hogan Hansen. It’s the second straight class with Newsome on staff in which Michigan has taken more than one prospect at the position.
Per the On3 Industry Rankings, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Prieskorn is rated as the No. 66 overall prospect in the country, No. 5 tight end nationally and No. 2 junior in the state of Michigan.
Prieskorn has an On3 NIL Valuation of $114K with 3,500 combined followers across Twitter, TikTok and Instagram. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Rounding out Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class are On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive lineman Andrew Sprague, On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis, consensus four-star Avon (Ohio) High interior offensive lineman Luke Hamilton, three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive tackle Ben Roebuck, three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier defensive lineman Ted Hammond, three-star Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall defensive lineman Manuel Beigel and three-star South Park (Pa.) High linebacker Zach Ludwig.
