“It’s Michigan’s ability to develop top-tier athletes,” Bair said. “They have one of, if not the top strength and conditioning program in the country. They’re very serious about what they do. Everyone in that building is very professional. They know how to put people in the NFL and know how to develop NFL players.”
Michigan was one of three schools to host Bair on an official visit last month. The June 23 trip was the first time that he stepped foot in Ann Arbor after months of courting over the phone or in-school visits by the coaching staff.
Wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy, offensive coordinator safeties coach Jay Harbaugh, offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore and head coach Jim Harbaugh were all heavily involved that weekend. Tight end Colston Loveland a fellow Idaho native, was Bair’s player host. Offensive lineman Andrew Gentry assisted with connecting on a personal level with Bair.

Michigan has a 71.9 percent lead to land a commitment from Bair on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).
At 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, Bair is listed as the No. 39 overall prospect and No. 11 wide receiver in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four primary recruiting media services. He’s also the No. 1 player in the state of Idaho.
Bair has an NIL Valuation of $167K with a combined 8,900 followers on Twitter and Instagram. It’s the highest high school football NIL ranking nationally, according to On3. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
