Where Michigan ranks in National Team Recruiting Rankings after latest update
Michigan dropped one spot to No. 16 overall on the 2024 On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings following the release of the updated 2024 On300 rankings Monday. The Wolverines enter the latter half of November with 14 commitments listed as four-star prospects. 56 percent of whom are considered blue-chip athletes.
Nine commits were featured in the update, including Nappanee (Ind.) NorthWood athlete Jo’Ziah Edmond, who made his debut at No. 250 overall after beginning the day as a three-star recruit. Four others received bumps, such as Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan, who jumped from No. 223 to No. 184 in the country.
Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller running back Jordan Marshall is the lone pledge in the Top 100 nationally.
Michigan 2024 Recruiting Class
The Wolverines are tied for seventh overall for the most verbal commitments (25) across the Power 5 level. Their total score of 90.921 is higher than Clemson, USC, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Kentucky, Arkansas, Wisconsin and North Carolina.
17 commits is the average calculated to determine a total ranking score.
Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class has 25 prospects locked in – Along with Edmond, Sullivan and Marshall, the group features On300 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, On300 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn, On300 Austin (Tex.) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier, On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, On300 Charlotte (N.C.) West linebacker Jaden Smith, On300 Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park EDGE Devon Baxter, four-star Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, four-star Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis and others.

Meanwhile, Michigan is No. 10 overall on the 2025 On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings and yields three commits – Top 100 Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna cornerback Chris Ewald Jr., On300 Ft. Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot quarterback Carter Smith and four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka.
2024 Big Ten Recruiting Rankings
The Wolverines currently sit No. 4 in the Big Ten Conference and trail Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State. Every program in the conference except for one has double-digit commitments, while 14 teams are listed in the Top 50.
