Michigan football reveals uniform combination for game at Minnesota
No. 2 Michigan Wolverines football will travel to Minnesota for a Saturday night showdown against the Golden Gophers. The Maize and Blue have hit the road once this season, winning 45-7 at Nebraska, and will look to stay undefeated after taking on the Gophers.
Michigan revealed on social media Friday afternoon that it will wear its white road jerseys with white pants and white accessories.

Last week at Nebraska, the Wolverines went with maize pants and white tops.
White pants have been the most common choice for Michigan on the road under ninth-year head coach Jim Harbaugh. In fact, the Maize and Blue sported white pants for every away game from 2015-20, with the exception of a 2017 loss at Penn State. In 2021, Harbaugh began giving more say to the players — captains and leadership council — but he makes the final uniform choice.
Since the 2021 campaign, Michigan has gone with white pants on the road just three times, and this will be the fourth. Blue and maize have been the most common pant color to this point, but all three colors will be tied up with four selections after Saturday night.

Michigan has embraced going on the road in recent seasons, after a sluggish start in away games under Harbaugh. In Harbaugh’s first five seasons, the Wolverines went 15-9 on the road, including an 0-7 mark against ranked opponents. Since the start of the 2021 campaign, though, Michigan is 10-1 in away games, with the lone loss coming at Michigan State in 2021.
