The Michigan spring roster is out and there are several observations to take from it. Here are notable position switches, new numbers, and more.

Starting with the position switches, and there aren’t as many this year. There are, however, three of note:

Michigan has a lot of depth on the offensive line, so a move from offense to defense isn’t a surprise. This year, sophomore Alessandro Lorenzetti has made the move from offensive tackle, now listed as a DT.

Michigan sophomore Amorion Walker has changed his number from No. 4 to the esteemed No. 1, and he’s now listed as a WR/DB. He came in as a wide receiver, of course, and is one of the frontrunners to take a starting cornerback job this season.

Defensive lineman Dominick Giudice has made the move from defensive line to offensive line (officially), while Kalel Mullings is officially listed by Michigan as a LB/RB. He, of course, played both last year.
