Senior Ondrej Styler is headed to the NCAA Singles Championship with a straight-set win over top-ranked Eliot Spizzirri (Texas), 6-4, 6-3. He’s the first U-M men’s tennis player to reach the semis since 1987. The semis are set for Friday.

Four-star wide receiver Bredell Richardson out of Tampa (FL) Carrollwood Day High named a top four of Michigan, Oregon, LSU and MSU.

“I love what they have going on,” Richardson told On3, speaking of the Maize and Blue. “Back to back Big Ten champs and beating Ohio State back to back years. They’re on to something. I’d love to bring some Florida talent up north.”

Thursday marked 100 days until Michigan football, meaning we’re already under that amount until the Wolverines kick off the 2023 season Sept. 2 against East Carolina at The Big House. The Maize and Blue begin the campaign with four straight home games, before heading to Nebraska Sept. 30.

Quote Of The Day

“I see myself there, and they see me doing great things at Michigan. Everything is going well with them. I’m just ready to go on the official visit. I can’t wait. I know it’s going to be a great time. I’m ready to see the college atmosphere. I know the football is going to be great. I want to see more of the academics, more of the campus, where I would live and everything like that.”
