Michigan vs. Indiana: 3 bold predictions for Week 11 tilt
The Michigan Wolverines are back in action on Saturday in a road game at Indiana, who will be looking for its first 10-win season in program history. U-M is going to do everything it can to make sure that does not happen as it looks to move to bowl eligibility in Sherrone Moore’s first season on the job.
There’s not a lot to suggest that Michigan should have a ton of success in this game, let alone win it, even as a 14.5-point underdog. One would think that allows them to play free, but they have had issues staying out of their own way all season long. When it’s not the players missing assignments, the coaching has ot always put them in positions to succeed. But perhaps this is why it could be a sneaky spot for a win that nobody sees coming.
Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti will not hesitate to put his foot on the gas and run things up if he is able to. This has the makings of a game that could be closer than the final score indicates.
With all of that in mind,
Davis Warren throws for three touchdowns
The Michigan passing offense has not exactly lit it up the last few weeks with Davis Warren back under center, but he has done what was needed in protecting the ball while making enough plays through the air to keep drives going. If this goes the way that Indiana wants it to, this could turn into a bit of a track meet, and there is always some weird pixie dust that leads to odd things happening in Bloomington. We think Warren will oblige and throw for three touchdown passes in doing his part to find an upset.

Michigan run game steps up, Mullings drops 100+
Michigan’s best shot at getting back into the win column is its run game returning to form, which means that Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards step up in a big way in addition to the offensive line creating rush lanes. One of the biggest reasons that Mullings in particular has slipped is because the run blocking has not allowed for him to get to the second level and break tackles. That changes this week with him popping a big run early en route to his first 100-plus yard performance since the win over Minnesota on Sept. 28.
Jyaire Hill has an interception in return
Michigan will be down a man in the secondary with Will Johnson out again dealing with a foot injury, but Jyaire Hill is questionable and reportedly ready to roll. Teams have targeted him at times this year, which has led to some mixed performances. But he makes the Hoosiers pay with an interception in this game that sets the Wolverines up for points on the Indiana side of the field.
