Live updates: Michigan vs. Ohio State
• Final: Michigan 30, Ohio State 24
• 4Q, 0:25 — Rod Moore intercepts Kyle McCord at the Michigan 21-yard line after Ohio State drove down to the 38 of Michigan following two big plays. The Wolverines will run out the clock and beat Ohio State for the third straight season.
• 4Q, 1:00 — Ohio State starts on its own 19-yard line and has a minute to get a touchdown and extra point to win the game.
• 4Q, 1:05 — The 37-yard James Turner field goal is good and Michigan leads 30-24.
• 4Q, 1:10 — Michigan has run the ball all the way down to the Ohio State 19-yard line. The Wolverines will line up for a field goal to extend their lead, currently up 27-24.
• 4Q, 8:05 — Ohio State answers Michigan’s 10-straight points with a touchdown on a 14-yard pass from Kyle McCord to Marvin Harrison Jr. The Wolverines were in zone and Junior Colson was the primary man in coverage. Michigan’s lead is 27-24.
• 4Q, 11:57 — James Turner’s 38-yard field goal is good. Michigan drives 44 yards in seven plays.
• End of the third quarter: Michigan 24, Ohio State 17. The Wolverines have the ball 1st and 10 on their own 41-yard line after a pitch and catch from J.J. McCarthy to Roman Wilson.
• 3Q, 2:19 — Zak Zinter, Michigan’s starting right guard, was carted off the field after getting rolled up on his ankle. Trente Jones is in at right tackle and Karsen Barnhart has slid down to right guard.
• 3Q, 5:35 — Ohio State drove down 75 yards in 12 plays, mostly running the football, and ended with a 3-yard scoring run by TreVeyon Henderson. The made extra point tied the game at 17-17.
• 3Q, 11:43 — Michigan used Alex Orji as a running quarterback for two plays. On his first play in, he ran 20 yards to jump start a Wolverine drive. The Wolverines stalled out, but James Turner nailed a 50-yard field goal to go up 17-10.
• Half: Michigan 14, Ohio State 10. Ohio State’s Jayden Fielding missed a 52-yard field goal as time expired to end the half.
• 2Q, 6:27 — After a questionable defensive holding call on Mason Graham, placing Ohio State inside the Michigan 10-yard line, Kyle McCord found Emeka Egbuka for a 3-yard touchdown pass. Michigan’s lead is now 14-10.

• 2Q, 10:22 — On 3rd and 10, J.J. McCarthy found a double-covered Roman Wilson for a 22-yard touchdown. The play was under review for quite a while because the Ohio State defender ripped the ball away from Wilson after he was in the end zone, but the play stood and score remained on the board. Michigan leads 14-3.
• 1Q, 2:13 — Ohio State marched down the field and Jayden Fielding made a 43-yard field goal after the Michigan defense came up with a third-down stop. The Buckeyes converted a 3rd and 4 earlier in the drive with a Kyle McCord deep ball to Marvin Harrison Jr. with Will Johnson in coverage.
• 1Q, 5:36 — Touchdown, Michigan, on fourth and goal from the 1-yard line after Corum appeared to get in but was called short (play stood after review) on third down. Will Johnson picked off Kyle McCord and returned it to the Ohio State 7-yard line. Four straight runs did the trick for the Maize and Blue, who lead 7-0.
• 1Q, 7:41 — Michigan goes three and out for the second time in as many possessions. Tommy Doman’s punt took a few big bounces and landed into the end zone for a touchback. First down Ohio State at its own 20-yard line.
• 1Q, 9:37 — Ohio State punts it back to Michigan after picking up one first down but failing to convert on another. The Wolverines start at their own 21-yard line after another Jake Thaw fair catch.

The Wolverines have won two straight games — 42-27 in Ann Arbor in 2021, which was their first win in the rivalry since 2011; and 45-23 in 2022, its first win in Columbus since 2000. It is the second straight year in which the two teams have faced each other with undefeated records — a first in the 126-year history of The Game.
