The Michigan Wolverines are preparing for a showdown with No. 1 Oregon on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor as a two-touchdown underdog. The odds were already stacked against them in this game, but the potential upset effort was made more difficult by the fact that both starting cornerbacks in Will Johnson and Jyaire Hill are out. That said, college football can be a funny and weird sport, and it feels like the football gods owe Michigan a little bit of hope this season.
