Tweets Of The Day
What an eventful day for Michigan football and basketball on Tuesday. The football program flipped top-100 EDGE Nate Marshall from Auburn back to U-M, where he was originally committed.
More from The Wolverine’s EJ Holland:
Marshall picked Michigan in the spring but switched his commitment to Auburn in the fall. Now, with just a day to go before signing day, Marshall in back in U-M’s class.
“I really like Michigan,” Marshall said. “I like how they utilize their defensive line and have their defensive ends play out of a two-point stance. I like playing out of a two-point stance because you’re able to visualize more. They’ve also produced a lot of great players.”
Later on, the program announced it was letting go of offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell.
More from The Wolverine’s Chris Balas:
“After a thorough assessment of our offense, I made the decision to relieve Kirk Campbell of his duties and move in a different direction,” said Moore in a statement. “This was a decision that I felt was in the best interest of our football program. I want to thank Kirk for his hard work and dedication to the university, Michigan Football and our student-athletes. I wish him well in his future coaching endeavors.”
Tight ends coach Steve Casula will serve as interim offensive coordinator in the meantime while Moore conducts a national search for Campbell’s replacement.
The Wolverines also saw junior wide receiver Tyler Morris announce that he’s leaving for the transfer portal.
To cap off the night, Michigan basketball notched a huge 67-64 win over Wisconsin in Madison. The Badgers are ranked the No. 11 team in America.

Quote Of The Day
“We’re most pleased that we didn’t beat ourselves down the stretch. We were able to finish possessions, rebounding the ball. We took care of it at a better rate than we have most of the season. We just knew that when you come into this place, you’re gonna have to earn it, and our guys earned it. Our front line played sensationally.”
