Michigan forward / center prospect Danny Wolf is headed to the NBA, a projected first round pick, but he’s still planning to finish his U-M degree at some point.

“Yeah, I do, actually,” he said at the combine. “I finished off the semester, and I plan on getting my degree. I have a year left — a full two semesters left.”

Michigan landed a commitment from 2025 small forward Patrick Liburd on Friday. Here’s more on the pledge:

The 6-foot-6, 180-pounder is an unranked recruit was once committed to and signed with Coastal Carolina but decommitted and requested a release from his national letter of intent May 7. He’s now the fourth member of Michigan’s 2025 class, joining guards Winters Grady and Trey McKenney and forward Oscar Goodman.

Liburd’s announcement on social media had the caption: “1000% all in! Go Blue!”

He also added a quote from the Bible, Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

While Liburd doesn’t have a rating on On3 or the On3 Industry Ranking, one service — 247Sports — has him as a three-star and the 56th-best small forward in America.

Coastal Carolina head coach Justin Gray broke down his game.

“Ricky is a big guard that can defend multiple positions, play above the rim and can shoot the ball with range,” Gray said.

In his initial recruitment, Liburd also had an offer from Murray State and opportunities to play for Cornell and Princeton.

Michigan defensive backs and brothers TJ Metcalf and Tevis Metcalf play a game with bad jokes.

Yesterday marked 30 days away from the start of summer camps with Michigan head coach Dusty May.

Quote Of The Day

“With him, the reason that he’s such an intriguing prospect is that he’s just sort of scratching the surface of his ability. He’s got a more mature game, so he looks like a college player already. He’s not rushing. You’re not speeding him up. He’s just very comfortable out there at his own pace.”
