Michigan basketball has already added three transfers in guard Nimari Burnett (Alabama) and forwards Tray Jackson (Seton Hall) and Olivier Nkamhoua (Tennessee), but the Maize and Blue are continuing to look for talent in the transfer portal. They still have two scholarship spots remaining.

Rutgers guard Paul Mulcahy entered the portal as a graduate transfer Friday morning, and U-M was one of the first teams to reach out to him almost immediately.

The 6-7, 213-pounder with one year of eligibility remaining averaged 8.3 points, 4.9 and 3.6 rebounds per game last season, shooting 43 percent on twos and 37 percent on 54 three-point attempts.

Episode two of ‘Those Who Stay’ features Michigan graduate left guard Trevor Keegan. Keegan discussed returning for one more season in Ann Arbor, his motivation, goals for the season, the weight room and more.

Quote Of The Day

“[Run game coordinator and running backs] Coach [Mike] Hart was great. He’s similar to [head] Coach [Jim] Harbaugh where he holds the same type of values. He also put in a lot of time for us and I really appreciated that. He sees what a lot of others coaches see in me. Speed, power, mobility, the ability to pass block, run routes out of the backfield and be that every down type of back. Coach Hart honed in on that.”
