Former Tennessee forward Olivier Nkamhoua went through the G League Elite Camp earlier this month, but decided to withdraw his name from the NBA Draft ahead of the May 31 deadline. Michigan has been in the mix for Nkamhoua for weeks, and he’s scheduled to visit the Wolverines beginning June 2. He’s also seen West Virginia and Kansas State over recent days.

Michigan football is only 93 days away. The Wolverines begin with four straight games at The Big House.

Quote Of The Day

“He’s always been a great leader for us. He’s played a variety of positions for us. He’s always had that motor and twitch. As a freshman, he played some middle linebacker and defensive end. He always played fullback for us. No matter where he is on the field, you can see him and, more often than not, you can hear him. You hear pads popping, helmets colliding or a gigantic collision. Often times, it’s someone being a recipient of Owen Wafle. He sets the tone for us. As he grew and got larger and stronger, he never lost that twitch. He got faster and faster. He has a unique body type. He is a shorter defensive tackle in that 6-foot-2 range, but he has elite arm length. He can out-leverage anybody and has long enough arms to play with anybody. He’s so fast and powerful.”
