Five-star+ Michigan QB commit on visit for Northwestern game, tailgates with Connor Stalions
Michigan Wolverines football flipped the college football world upside down Thursday night, with Belleville (Mich.) High five-star+ quarterback Bryce Underwood pledging to the Wolverinres. He was previously committed to LSU.
Underwood visited Michigan earlier in the week before flipping to the Wolverines, and he’s back on campus Saturday for the senior day game against Northwestern.
Prior to entering The Big House, Underwood stopped by a tailgate run by ‘Hailgate,’ a fan-organized group of Michigan supporters who showed up to multiple Belleville games during the playoffs in hopes of luring Underwood to Ann Arbor.
Underwood was photographed with former Michigan analyst Connor Stalions, who was an assistant coach during Belleville’s playoff run. Stalions resigned from Michigan last season amidst an NCAA investigation into off-campus scouting.
Underwood’s teammate at Belleville — four-star safety Elijah Dotson — is also on campus and attended the tailgate.
