Gameday central: Michigan football 2023 spring game
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan Wolverines football will host its spring game Saturday at The Big house. The squads will be split into two sides, ‘Blue’ and ‘Maize. Special teams coordinator and safeties coach Jay Harbaugh will lead the ‘Blue,’ while running backs coach and run game coordinator Mike Hart will head up the ‘Maize.’ The two coaches and surrounding staff members drafted players earlier this week. Head coach Jim Harbaugh will serve as the commissioner.

Gates 1, 2 and 10 open: 2 p.m.
Kickoff: 3 p.m. ET (warmups begin around 2:30)

Weather.com projects it to be 43 degrees and cloudy at 3 p.m. ET, with a 24-percent chance of precipitation. Winds are a projected 17 MPH out of the west. It’s expected to cool down a couple degrees to 41 by 6 p.m., when the chance of rain will fall to 14 percent.

Entrance / Seating
• Gates 1, 2 and 10 on the east side will be open for fans to enter Michigan Stadium, with seating restricted to Sections 1-9 and Sections 37-44. There will not be any seating available on the west side or in the end zones due to the ongoing scoreboard construction.
• The typical prohibited items list will be strictly enforced, with no bags allowed into the stadium for the practice. All attendees and items are subject to search.

Parking
• A limited number of handicap parking spots will be available (free of charge) in Lot SC-6.
• Ann Arbor Pioneer High School will be charging $34 for parking only; no tailgating, no RVs are permitted in the lots. Fans can reserve a parking spot at MichiganGamedayParking.com.
Spring Game NIL Pep Rally
Valiant Management and the Champions Circle Collective are putting together a pep rally at Crisler Center ahead of the Michigan Wolverines football spring game April 1, from 12-3 ET.
Head football coach Jim Harbaugh and 180 Michigan student-athletes across 10 teams on campus are slated to make appearances. Representatives from the following teams will in attendance: football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s golf, men’s tennis, track and field, wrestling and more.
Tickets cost $30 for adults, and kids under 12 will receive free admission. They can be bought on The M Den website.
