• Michigan decided to promote former analyst Campbell to quarterbacks coach, after one season with the program in his previous role. The two years prior, he was Old Dominion’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, after serving a stint as an analyst with Penn State.
• Harbaugh reportedly met with the Denver Broncos in person last week in Ann Arbor. That came over a week after Harbaugh and president Santa Ono said that Harbaugh would be returning to Michigan after looking at NFL opportunities. The two sides met without a deal, but reports out of Denver say the Broncos are going to make another run at the Michigan coach.
• Michigan basketball lost to Purdue Thursday and Penn State Sunday, and is now 11-10 on the season. The Wolverines are running out of time to turn it around and face a tough Thursday night matchup at Northwestern.
